Re: Welcome to West Ham United Julen Lopetegui !!!
"Because Lopetegui really does believe in coaching Youth if they have the natural talent... Ahead of the¬†2014‚Äì15 season, Neves was earmarked to bypass Porto's under-19s and play with the reserves instead. Following an injury to teammate¬†Mikel Agu, however, he was called by¬†Julen Lopetegui¬†to be part of the main squad's pre-season preparations.[8]¬†On 15 August 2014, aged 17 years and five months, he made his¬†Primeira Liga¬†debut where he started and scored in a 2‚Äì0 home win against¬†Mar??timo¬†‚Äì in doing so, he became the youngest player in the club's history to score a goal in the competition.[9]¬†He played his first match in the¬†UEFA Champions League¬†five days later in a 1‚Äì0 win over¬†Lille, and broke another record, previously held by¬†Cristiano Ronaldo, by being the youngest Portuguese to appear in the tournament.[6][10] On 20 October 2015, aged 18 years and 221 days, Neves became the youngest player to start as¬†captain¬†in the Champions League, helping Porto to a 2‚Äì0 win against¬†Maccabi Tel Aviv¬†in¬†the group stage¬†and surpassing previous record holder¬†Rafael van der Vaart, who held it since 16 September 2003.[13]¬†On 5 December, in a 2‚Äì1 win over¬†Pa?ßos de Ferreira¬†also at the¬†Est?°dio do Drag?£o, he broke another record by becoming the youngest player to make 50 appearances for the club, surpassing players like¬†Fernando Gomes¬†and¬†Jaime Magalh?£es.[14] Casemiro After joining Real Madrid, Casemiro initially struggled to break into the first team. He was loaned to¬†FC Porto¬†for ‚Ǩ15 million in order to gain more playing time. During his time at Porto, Casemiro performed impressively and helped the team reach the¬†Champions League¬†quarterfinals.[9]¬†Real Madrid decided to reacquire him for ‚Ǩ7.00m in the summer transfer window of 2015.[10] Lopetegui is the real deal and a proper shit hot Coach. If you're a quality Youth player or a player that wants to improve their understanding of the game and tactical awareness, this is 1 of those guys that's 1 of the best at it."

"Have to respond Two Feet. Yes , I seriously do enjoy Vexed/s posts. SERIOUSLY. He does talk sense unlike some idiots on here and you and your side kick Nutsin has gone MIA after Moyes got the DCM."" Don't Come Monday"" for the seriously challenged retards on here. I am 77 years young and supported this once great Club for 59 years whilst you were in Nappies and I am not a Gimp. Just as I don't support your Moyes Lovefest it does not mean I am not entitled to my opinion. You see Sonny, this is a Forum or a debating site. Children such as yourself should concern yourself with playing with your Train set and not putting your opinion in when grown ups are Debating. In modern day terms Two Feet. GO FUCK YOUR SELF"
Re: Welcome to West Ham United Julen Lopetegui !!!
You would have to wonder about a player who would rather go to the Saudi league for the filthy lucca at the age of 26... you are a long time retired from the game! Was the 60k a week that he must have been earning at Wolves not enough?

Re: Welcome to West Ham United Julen Lopetegui !!!
"Also looking at his results against Porto during his time there and the Teams he played, he 1st got a respectable 1-1 draw, then a 3-1 loss, followed by a 3-0 win and a final 2-0 loss. All this 4-3-3 Formation we keep hearing about and he interestingly relied heavily on a young Casemiro and Ruben Neves at the heart of midfield who he gave a debut season too. Neves being the cultured play making Midfielder who he reunited with at Wolves, before becoming 1 of the high profile player sales the summer Lopetegui had enough of seeing quality players leaving ie the Club broken promises. Neves has just had a full season in Saudi earning a tidy fortune out there and recently turned 27. I could see both Lopetegui and Neves reunited in the Premier League with us forming a formidable midfield with Alvarez and 1 other (Paqueta?). How about that for some research?"

Re: Welcome to West Ham United Julen Lopetegui !!!
"I think Amorim was a step too soon only because of the state of our squad in age/homegrown/confidence any new manager with forward thinking would require their types of player which in Amorims case are in abundance in Portugal. Here he would have to sift through, see who he could convert and then probably have to buy more homegrown players that would use up his budget. This Loppy feller has been continuing to study our game and will probably save some of our current squad from being all out failures. I think we will see a few ‘Winston Reid’ type turnarounds. But let’s wait and see….."

Re: Welcome to West Ham United Julen Lopetegui !!!
“Trundle's normally fairly sensible…” Any chance of a notification for when this happens as I wouldn’t want to miss the event?
Re: Welcome to West Ham United Julen Lopetegui !!!
Trundle's normally fairly sensible but he's completely lost the plot over this. He's been posting up fake statistics and anything else he can do to paint the bloke in the worse light possible and anyone who doesn't do the same he calls fawning or says that Loppy's their hero. It's a bit weird.

"Lee Trundle 11:32 Thu May 9 Fawning? I will be honest. I think the response from most fans I know and on here has been the most low key, ambivalent and pragmatic to any other manager I can ever remember. Yes, some people have made positive comments and have pointed out Lope's strengths....But fawning? Seriously?"

Re: Welcome to West Ham United Julen Lopetegui !!!
"Here's an idea CARTERS, why not give him a free ticket once he actually becomes our manager? I'd piss myself if somehow he doesn't join us. Some of the fawning over this bloke has been unbelievable."
Re: Welcome to West Ham United Julen Lopetegui !!!
"Vexed. Always look for your posts, without being condescending, but Moyes is going and we both agree on that just two years to late. Let's give this Lo Lo a free ticket because one thing is for sure. He cannot be worse than the Trog we've had for four years. So, he won us a Tin Pot Cup ...let the Tossers on here play with themselves over that. That apart, he did SFA useless Prick"
Re: Welcome to West Ham United Julen Lopetegui !!!
"I'm coming round to the idea of this Loppy fella. Well maybe not him, he's still a deeply uninspired choice but the fact we're officially going to be Moyes-free and there's a chance the bloke they brought in might be competent enough to use subs and build a squad or something. Although two year deal says he's a short term stop gap appointment. You'd hope they'd have more confidence in him than that."

Re: Welcome to West Ham United Julen Lopetegui !!!
"Had a further dig in to Lopetegui's time as Porto's Coach to discover he was only 1 win (plus GD swing) away from winning the Title in his 1st season in charge, losing only twice in the League all season long +61 GD, whilst also reaching the Champions League Quarter-Final, and the Semi's of the Portugese League Cup. The following season ‚ÄãPorto then sack Julen Lopetegui in a recent defeat to Primeira Liga leaders Sporting Lisbon. The 49-year-old leaves Porto in third place in the league, level on points with second-placed Benfica and four points behind Lisbon after a 2-0 defeat last weekend. The loss was Porto's first in the league for almost a year. Tough crowd. All these boring Title challenges with either Sevilla and Porto that end up regularly qualifying for the Champions League and Quarter-Final appearances must seem like such a fucking chore for some... Yeah, gimmie just a little taste of some of that shit ta Lopetegui and you'll fit in just fine here with me, muchos gracias! With regards to getting the sack by Spain on the eve of the World Cup having never lost a game, the div that binned him off is that touchy feelie egotistical weirdo Luis Robiales who's now under investigation for corruption. I think I know who I'd rather side with when thinking who got that call right..."
Re: Welcome to West Ham United Julen Lopetegui !!!
Ive been a season ticket holder for 30 years since my knees gave up and i couldn't play in the Essex Business Houses League any more. I love football and i love West Ham. David Moyes has run his course and he is out of his time and i dislike his tactics but i'll give him a good send off saturday because he gave us all that special night in Prague. The new guy wants to manage us which amorin obviously doesn't want to so let's back our new boss - give the fella a chance and he might surprise us

Jesus Christ Jasniik. Don’t compare us to that apocalypse.! Lucas burnt that empire down after Jedi. And the Mouse House is doing a bang up job. Pissing on the embers. We all got to believe there’s some hope coming down the pipe at the OS.?
