I've avoided it because I can't look at Sandra Oh.

"I've avoided killing Eve, particularly because of the trailers with the scouser with the over the top Russian accent. Is it good?"

"Sarge - I've never watched Line of duty. I only watched Breaking Bad last year. Killing Eve, The Fall, Broadchurch, Happy Valley, The Night Manager all good UK shit in recent years."
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
West side Agreed re fortitude Massively lost interest after series 1 Having not seen any of them before we are watching Line of Duty . I’m sure it’s been touted here over and over but just in case we are not the last people on earth to find it...........it’s bloody brilliant.

"I know I‚Äôm in the minority here. But I think sopranos is massively overrated. I just finished season 3. And fuck all happens for the most part, just watching tony eat all the fucking time üòÇ"

The only problem with Ozark is that it's filmed with a dark filter - apparently to replicate its dark tone - and it's a cսnt to watch in the day.

"Peckham. Dtick with Ozark mate,it gets better as the plot thickens. Every character has dark side to them and there are many more of them to come if you have only just started."

"The majority of things people recommend to watch bore me to fucking tears after a few episodes. Pretty much the only one I’ve seen through is the Sopranos, which I though was bloody superb. Otherwise, TV gets boring very quickly as they’re all trying the same old shit."
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
"I will keep on saying Better Call Saul goes from strength to strength, the last two episodes on par with the best of breaking bad. Can anyone let me know if OZARK is worth persevering with? Mates rate it, but find the first episode proper slow. Wild Wild Country - Excellent documentary on netflix"

"I find Gervais unlikely. The best stuff he did was written with Stephen merchant, who was obviously the talented one."

I watched The Sinner 3. Not great. Unlike the first 2 there wasn't any twists towards the end when it kind of all made sense and everything fell into place. Also some ridiculous holes in it. Still a decent watch though.

"I doubt i'll bother with After Life 2 - daft idea given the premise. I love Gervais and as good as the first After Life was, when he goes into sentimental overdrive like the final episode, it's all a tad vomit inducing. Loving Ozark at the moment."
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
I’ve just watched series 1 of Fortitude. Don’t know why I didn’t watch it before. It’s pretty good stuff. Hermit - thought series 1 was excellent. 2 and 3 no where near as good.
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
"I really like Ricky Gervais and thought Afterlife was decent enough so watched Afterlife 2 last night. I thought it was pretty poor. Anyone other than Gervais and it would be getting hammered. It may still do? It was just going for the easy laughs with the word ‘cunt’ used all the time and just pointless crude shit that wasn’t funny. The psychiatrist character played by Paul Kaye has turned into an unrealistic prick and they just threw in the odd sad moment with tears to try to pull on the heart strings. Obviously there were some funny moments but as a whole it was bang average at best. Everything about it seemed weak and forced,"

Done 3 episodes of Manhunt series 2. This time about bombing of Atlanta Olympics 1996. First series about Unibomber. Both decent.
