Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

May as well get going with this since with Sullivan at the helm, season ticket renewals slow, and the football vacuum to commence, this will soon be all the "news" there is.
Can Potter and MacCauley pull multiple rabbits out of the hat, or will Sullivan 'try really hard' with all of them before grabbing a few aging bargains from Big Willie Salthouse?
Window this close season comes in two parts:
Part 1: 1st June to 10th June

All the technology evidence is that they aren't. Anyway ...this is off topic (my fault).

Get rid of Antonio and bring in Calvert-Lewin.
For comments like this the 'cսnt' button can't come in soon enough....or maybe we just send Ferret the way of Ladysmith?!
What happened to ladyboy? Him and Ferret are the same cսnt.

Antonio is lucky to be alive. The fact a premier league club offered him a contract is a miracle.

Scott Carson is available on a free. Must have the best mins to trophy ratio ever.
Sullivan pops a boner and checks who Carson's agent is.

It's irrelevant due to his pensionable age now coupled with his leg resembling a half chewed pepperami stick these days.
If he could only score 1 goal in 15 matches prior to the accident, then to offer him anything at all would be madness.
It's the mascot job or nothing.

Does anyone know the details? The current salary he was on, whats been offered, how many years? Without that cannot make a judgement imo.
I would say as an aside though, that a 35 year old striker, having had a life threatening accident that broke his upper and lower leg in 3 places, is not going to be on a list of priorities. If we made a derisory offer ( hard to quantify as we have no numbers altho this is Sullivan ) then the club deserves criticism but maybe Antonio wants too much based on his circumstances and tbh at 35 and his recent history he should be pretty grateful to just be playing. If he can get more elsewhere or more game time guaranteed or promised then thats fair play. He was a 60 min playwr at best before the injury so at Prem level he’s no more than a late impact sub ( assuming he still has some speed and strength left). Unlikely he will be missed, beem a good servant and will be fondly remembered

Wasn’t he getting divorced as he’d poked a woman into a pregnant state
And then repeated the act with another SLAG
Probably does need money in that case
I think we should stop worrying about people thinking we are heartless & give him his P45

Because. It's a ENORMOUS pile of horseshit. Put around by someone close to the board.?

He's previously mentioned that his car insurance was ridiculous after crashing his Lambo dressed as a snowman.
I'd be surprised if anyone wants to insure him after crashing his Ferrari.
That's pretty much half a million quid worth of car he's totalled.

I honestly don't believe Antonio is after more money -
Those new top of the range Ferraris and Lambo's don't pay for themselves you know..
I'm sorry but this is turning in to a joke situation as he was clearly of little use to us before his near death accident due to his age and come the end of the season his contract would have run out naturally. To then award him a new contract at 35 with half a battered leg to hop about on in any games is madness and would be typical of the BS regime to sanction it.

I honestly don't believe Antonio is after more money - expect he is just after more money than he is being offered.
I don't think there is an awful lot of drama here or anyone is doing anything especially questionable.
It would be mad to offer him anything substantial as a 35 y/o coming back from a serious injury, so if he's prepared to stay on a reduced wage then he's welcome but if not then it's no big loss.
Antonio will have offers elsewhere not only better financially but probably a better chance of playing too.
Not much to see here.

I'm assuming the only reason we're signing Brownhill is to flip him next January/summer for PSR?

Linked with bringing Arnoutovic back on a free, at only 36 years of age that makes him up and coming by Sullivan’s standards
Oh fuck off we ain't.

Now getting Bellingham I would have got behind as I rate him and the kind of age/ability profile we should be going for in central midfield. Instead we go for the cheapo old journeyman option instead.

Not WHU related but I see Jobe Bellingham is off to Dortmund for 31 mill. Seems like a hell of a lot despite his youth? Going on the strength of his brother's name? Still, they don't get it wrong that often, do they.
At least they bought him based on loads of appearances starting games at that age and achieved promotion to the Premier League, compared to someone Steidten bought from Brazil for a similar amount based off much fewer games mostly off the bench.

Relegation fight next season if we do not get pace, athleticism, physical strength in midfield. A young, quick striker, a left back and a goalkeeper in addition and we could see a proper turnaround.
Expect none of the above because Sullivan is back in full control. Macaulay and Potter can identify who they like but Sullivan will ensure he gets players he wants. He’s supposedly said, in reference to Steidten, Husillos and previous managers, that he is better at identifying players to back up his opinion that DOFs are a waste of time. He has unfortunately been emboldened by bringing in AWB, via Salthouse, last summer. He will have conveniently ignored the other 50 duds he brought in over the last 15 years.
My advice is always to ignore the rumours and media BS anyway. Nothing of note will happen until August after sales hopefully made. Kudus, Emerson, Aguerd, Rodruiguez, Irvine and if needs be others like Fullkrug will need to have been sold before we do much buying. It will be like going into the supermarket at the end of the weekend, shelves half empty etc. Dont worry though, Sullivan will save the day with calls and deals thru his agent contacts.
15 years of this owner. Why would anyone expect anything logical, sensible or strategic to happen?
Best to hope for next season is what it has always largely been under Sullivan.. avoid a relegation scrap but currently as things stand that is looking unlikely
Yep, and all the other useless cunts on the board just sit there doing fuck all nothing while Rome burns...
You would think they would be gobsmacked and motivated to act quickly while they see a man who by his own admission is a liar, a humbug, a hypocrite, a vagabond, a loathsome spotted reptile and a self-confessed chicken strangler. They may choose, if you wish, to believe the transparent tissue of odious lies which stream on and on from his disgusting, greedy, slavering lips and his overrated sidekick with the performative feminist schtick. That is entirely on their heads alone.

Very difficult for us to sign anyone early of note given where we finished in the league.
If you're a young player but with talent, you're not singing for West Ham until August....because there's all the teams in Europe, and the teams in contention in the league to get into Europe that you'd sign for first.
Our market this year is on the way down freebies, lower league punts, and 2nd rate leagues not quite big things in the hope of finding a late bloomer or rough diamond.
Anyone else we have to wait until the bigger lions have had their full before we get to sniff around the scraps and the bones of what's left.
This year, we are way down the food chain of player selection...so what player comes to us early in the window? No one who actually rates themselves that's for sure.
