"Iron Duke 11:03 Sun Oct 9 Re: Kodi XBMC EntertainmentBox update already has KODI, but you have to go through so many areas to navigate to find the KODI desktop. I was hoping that I could get rid of the EntertianmentBox software completely and just have KODI"

"Downloaded Yes Movies yesterday (replaces Movieflix which is now defunct). Great movies on there, some for which there are no streams on Exodus (e.g. Cafe Society). That's the only downside to Kodi is the regular updates needed and cancelling apps. Love the Now music app - listening to all of the 80s songs again is amazing. All I need now is a good home cinema..."

"Also, doing it this way should ensure that it updates automatically."

"It sounds like you need to reinstall KODI yourself. A google or youtube search will do the trick. Then install the favourites like Exodus, Pheonix and Sports Devil. It's pretty easy really."

So is Entertainment Box no good now? Who is the best out there that updates the box for you automatically?

"Foolishly, I downloaded the latest software from EntertainmentBox on my T8 AML V3 the other day and it has completely changed everything. When I used to turn on the box, I got the KODI navigation page after boot up. Nice and easy to navigate with all my add on's including WOOKIE. Now I get the customised EntertainmentBox and everything has gone! EntertainmentBox have been no help at all. Anyone know how I can revert to the original package with KODI as a start up?"

Helmut... Just connect your phone to your WiFi and enter the code that way. They will only check your external IP address which will be the same from your phone via your WiFi as from your Amazon box.

"I only actually use Kodi, Amazon Prime Instant Video and Netflix on my Amazon TV Box. In fact I've only got the Exodus add on for TV and movies because I don't need a fucking build that will just slow things up. Seriously, how many add ons do you use? Exodus for TV and Movies and Sports Nation HD for the footie and you are DONE! I just really like the Amazon interface and if you have Amazon Prime, which I do and I love and is well worth it for me it works really well. I only still have Netflix so Spandex jnr can watch it at his mum's"

"Tip - if you are cancelling Sky , virgin etc then think about Vodafone fibre broadband - you don't have to pay the line rental charge that all other broadband providers hit you with."

The problem I have found with Amazon Fire is that some of the film providers are asking you to go into their website to get a code that you enter on the screen. it has to be from the same web address as the Kodi application and then it allows you to watch it during a four hour period. I cannot find an application that gives you internet access on Amazon Fire. Any ideas?

Kodi on an Amazon Fire TV box is fucking AWESOME. I just have Exodus and Sports Nation HD and I am one happy bunny. You can give Sky £150 a month and not get what you get for that set up.

Mr Burns - all you need to do with an Amazon Fire box is install Kodi on it - just like you would install any other app (other than enabling developer settings). http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Install_Kodi_on_Fire_TV
