NFL (since 2016)
"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"southbankbornnbred 11:33 Tue Dec 8 ""It's another open season at the moment"" It is always partially about who stays healthy and this year's short training camp and no preseason has compounded that. A war of attrition and/or luck with people coming back will probably decide it amongst the playoff teams. We just know Tampa can't win it because the big show is in Tampa and I am okay with that."
Re: NFL (since 2016)
Yep they like to quote that when we are playing. Nice stat. Our defence has been really good in the second half of games as well. Hopefully we'll be leading at half time Friday morning as well.

"mr burns, I heard an impressive stat about our old boy, & your head coach mcvey. every time sean's had you leading at HT, you've gone on to win. 34-0 is the record"

"It's another open season at the moment - hard to pick an obvious winner, although I fancy the Chiefs to repeat. Just feel they'll have slightly more options than the other main contenders. A couple of late season injuries, though, and everything changes."

Excellent win for the Non-Binary Skins of No Colour or Ethnic Persuasion. Was impressed with what I saw of their defense. It takes something to hold down Pittsburgh's offense like that.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"WFT got a bit conservative there after they got in field goal range, one more first down would hve let them bleed the clock right down. Sounds like the Steeler's kicker is hurt though so will be very interesting to see how they approach it if they need to tie the game"
Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Glad I stayed up, just doing fivers in running on Thomas and barber has paid off. 12/1 on a player who the steelrs haven't been able to stop while mclaurin was 13/2 was like buying money. Fella is fucking huge yet they can't seem to see him :o) Cheers!!!"

"They need Connor back big time, this snell is wank and no chance of winning the big show with only having a throwing game. Skins have played well though, just need some offensive weapons as the D looks good."

"this quick throwing style reminds me of the patriots but he no longer has brady's arm power, so the short stuff does put a lot of demand on the receivers"

"What happened to Gibson, btw, I missed it? Did somebody mention a foot injury and no more game time for him tonight? If so, that's a blow."

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"As if firing Gregg Williams is going to do the Jets any good whatsoever at this point - as somebody has already pointed out below, it'll just give TIG more play-calling power for a few more games. Most pointless move since, well, hiring Gase in the first place! The absolute unparalleled stupidity of the Jets never ceases to amaze me. It's a shame what has happened to Williams in the past few years. He has not been the same play-caller on defense since his, ahem, bountygate days. When he joined us, he was the one glimmer of hope on our coaching staff. He's not been as useless as Gase - but he hasn't exactly pulled up any trees. And his relationship with the head coach was understandably strained. Any of our relationships with Gase would be strained - we'd want to hurt him every time he walked through the training facility! Still, one necessary firing done. Several still to go. Most of them will come after the season. Clear out the shit. It is going to take a long time..!"

Re: NFL (since 2016)
Thought there might be another exciting end to my Fantasy matchup but Gibson going out early killed that off.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
it's poor that there was no game plan if gibson got injured. alex looks like he's finally got in a rhythm but he can't throw every down. turner can be a shit play caller

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"That goal line stand was immense but to see it undone so quickly must be soul destroying for. As for the debacle with the clock at the end of the half, absolutely clownish. This is the richest sports league in the world and they sustain that level of ineptitude."
