Rugby World Cup

Not a massive fan of this sport. Seems everyone forgets the rules when on the pitch and give away stupid penalties. One thing thoug I'm pretty sure it was meant to be played in 30C temperatures. Those big guys will be collapsing in this heat.

This Wales Fiji match is much more like it. I have a soft spot for the land of my mother.

"Yeah, it seems like an utter joke that Curry’s got a red and the possibility of a two game ban whereas a lot of similar incidents are being given lesser punishment. It’s feeling a bit like special rules for England."

"Quelle surprise, the RU equivalent of VAR seems to be inconsistent in its application. Yesterday’s incident ended up as a red card with Curry up for further review. Today the Saffa does not even incur a penalty."

Scotland bossing the Boks in the scrum is a turn up.

"El Scorchio 3:05 Sun Sep 10 I didn't mean on the day you loon, it was a sarcastic comment referring to previous negative comments before a ''ball'' had been kicked. I know fuck all about the egg chasing, but enjoy a world cup tourny. Come on England!"

"It was an amazing atmosphere, my group were right up in the Gods on halfway. It's a very long way from the pitch. The noise the stadium makes when full is incredible and the 15,000 or so Argies contributed very well. The stadium itself is possibly the most dangerous I've visited in the modern era. So many steps and so little safety railings. the access from the main road is a joke. They really fucked up the fan experience last night in every respect other than the magnificent game itself"

Remains a yellow of course. Getting a distinct whiff of bullshit about the Curry decision compared to most of the other decision making in this tournament so far.

So the Chile captain just did something very similar to Tom Curry but probably worse. Let’s see what they do with this….

"Manuel 7:31 Beating a team ranked higher than us, by 17 points, playing with 14 men for 77 minutes? You might be in a minority of one, there."

I have to say after the initial yellow I thought here we go again. Giving away a stupid tackle so early in the game (albeit probably not a red ) but how wrong I was proved. We got our tactics spot on. No way we were going to out run them with 14 men. Amazing kicking from Ford

That is a superb win. The way it’s been going it would have been superb at 15 v 15 let alone 15 v 14.

We were fantastic. Where did that defence come from? Ford and Itoje played their best games for ages.

Takashi Miike 11:52 Sat Sep 9 Re: Rugby World Cup Not at all Thickie. I’m enjoying an unexpectedly good performance and laughing at what a freak you are. Some gibbering fucking loon muttering “commies” and “anti-English” while wandering around in piss-stained pants.

Great to see another team make mistakes and England Tate advantage of them rather than the other way round. Magnificent performance with 14 men.
