"Been through bad time lately with suffering with this. Dark thoughts as well. I know some posters on here suffer with this. Anyone come through the other side of this shit?

"A number of posters have been yellow carded and told to stay off this thread unless they have anything constructive to add. This is a thread that has been very useful to so many, for any other posters with scores to settle, argue on another thread. This thread is sacrosant.Thank you"

Hahahaha No MPI he was sadly more interested in getting patients that were on trollies help and sent home ! The out patients large waiting room was just full of people on beds waiting to be seen ;-( It was horrific and so upsetting. I gave my nurses a tin of biscuits and said up the nurses maybe I used the wrong chant ;-)

ted fenton 8:22 Wed Jan 4 Ted all sounds good and it seems the consultant has nailed that drinking was only ever a symptom and BRD (Bubbles Related Disappointment) is the root cause. Was he able to perscribe new owners and manager to cure that?

Had 5th endoscope yesterday they banded six more Varices (Varicose Veins) under anesthetic from the oesophagus to the stomach. Another endoscope in a few weeks to see if the bands are still in place and stable...... All the staff were superb and the consultant stressed that if I start drinking again i'll die !!! So a pretty good reason I suppose !!!! but he did take on boared that I was a West Ham supporter ;-)

"May you all get the Christmas you want/need, you are never alone,WHO is here* Oh and Zico you aren't someone who needs a kick up the pants fella but we all need a sounding board to help us focus our thoughts or simply remind us we are part of something. Big Love. MPI .*As long as a good natured cunting off counts as community and company to you, I know it does for me."

"Well done to all, that have somehow managed to keep going and improve their mental health, a big thank you to all of those in the background who have helped others through their difficulties. If people need confidential help I am leaving my personal email address as unfortunately the flashing yellow envelope does not always work, and if I can't help I can be in touch with a number of posters who can. Good luck to all, hope you are all able to have a decent Christmas My email address is [email protected] will also put this on the opening post"

"Pents, Bruno, MPI and all others who helped give me a kick up the backside a couple of weeks ago best wishes for Christmas and the New Year. In the words of Rocky Balboa - ""The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward."" Thankfully I am a short arse so in my case I may just duck!"

I’m sure many will have problems this Christmas but I wish you all well. How’s it all going Pentonville? I hope you’re doing fine at this lonely time mate. And all those in a similar situation. I wish I could help you all individually. Remember that every human being is special. Even when it seems otherwise. Merry Christmas everyone.
