"TM - I agree. I've always thought that about the draft system and the perverse incentives it creates. On the whole I agree with the idea that the worst sides get first picks etc. That's a decent, simple, principle to try to keep the sport competitive. But they do need to have a system in place to stop obvious abuse of that principle. No professional sports team should set out with the aim of losing - and to provide an incentibve for it, without any reprimand - just seems odd. That call last night was disgraceful.
