General Election - July 2024

This appears to be the rumour on Sky. An easy win for Starmer and some big names losing their seats. The Country needs a change but is it going to get one? The thought of seeing that annoying Beth Rigby for 6 weeks though is a horrifying thought.

"London does have everything for sure, but it's expensive, usually raining and now dangerous."

"I'll just carry on as normal, not watching the news and taking no notice of fuck all, hopefully it won't affect me.. Ignorance is bliss"

"London is a fantastic city to visit and live in, its just prohibively expensive unless you're either on the ladder already or are on benefits. You can live a good lifestyle on half the money in any other big city but London has loads going on that other cities just don't have."

Turnover low (haven’t seen the figure yet) & Labour with 36% of the vote which means the result could easily turn next time Described on the bbc as an unenthusiastic landslide. Mainly anti Conservative vote rather than pro Labour Too many other things going on with the votes for Reform & Hamas

Farage. IN Corbyn. IN Labour with less votes than 2019 These two men will terrorise Labour in the commons.

"Ha ha Pushed some buttons Yes, I do love Perth & visit when I can. Not sure why I would be banned from there No opinions on great cities then? Liz Truss booted out Always good to see utter incompetents banished. Imagine we will see her with Reform next"

"Sven - you really are a wanker. Hopefully now banned from Perth WA, another place you claim to love. Should be deported to Rwanda with Rishi so the cannibals can eat you (unless they are all now in Tribe London)."

Labour government might actually mean the boats stop and illegals get sent home!

"Faux - Turn it in ffs, you have been slating Germany and Dubai just in the last few days, last week it was Scotland. You appear to use this site to get out all of your angst in real life, we all do to a point, but not as much as you. I don't have an opinion on what is the greatest city in the world, probably just comes down to personnel choice and what you're looking for."

Lib Dem woman challenged how they can have 50 seats with 13% of the vote while Reform have 4 with 15%. Quite rightly pointed out that THEY pushed for proportional representation & presumably all Reform voters voted against it

I’m not running down anywhere else & it has some of the problems that goose mentions But it IS the greatest city in the world … but I respect any alternative suggestions Perhaps goose will mention an Italian city A country controlled by organised crime & the worlds major paedophile ring masquerading as a religion Starmer elected. Underwhelming speaker for a QC (now KC) Farage elected & several high profile Tories incl possibly Truss binned Several terrorists elected on behalf of Hamas I believe

Looks like 4 seats each for Reform and Hamas (Sky and BBC have completely ignored this). A bit of a worry. Time to pick a side soon.

"Piston Hammered. Why not travel a bit, or check a few things before commenting. These immigrants are coming here from Europe and if you think ours social care is better than that in France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, etc.,you are on another planet, because it isn’t. It’s far worse."

"Vexed leaves out the part that a lot of these so called immigrants are coming to the UK for one reason and one reason only…free money from the traitorous government that give your hard earned cash away to free loaders while allowing this invasion. And don’t give me that racist bs either, I’m talking on behalf of every person that came to this country the legal way. Housing, health care, crime are all tits up because the UK is being flooded with people who will never assimilate into British society. You are witnessing the death of your culture."

It's looking good for England in the Euros. The only time we won a major tournament (1966) there was a Labour Government. Tell Southgate to get out the red kit ;)

Can someone remind me what is the definition of insanity? Labour Conservative Labour Conservative Labour Conservative Labour Conservative When will people realize that these governments are different sides of the same coin. The people get fucked either way. Time to find a new path.

Wouldn’t give these exit polls much credence as the have Reform on 13 seats.
