Lopetegui (sacked 8.1.2025)

I was thoroughly looking forward to the start of this season
Was also prepared that things might take some time and wasn't expecting miracles over night What I didn't expect was a manager who after spending 6 weeks with the total dross he'd been left by Moyes would deem them fit to start in a premier league game And low and behold all of them played absolute shit
We're now 1 game in and none of our new players are any closer to bedding in or learning anything from their new team mates cos they barely spent a second on the pitch, half of them not at all I think it's gonna take somewhere between 6-10 games before we see the team anyone with an ounce of sense would play cos this bloke can't identify shit when he see's it I thought we was handed a miracle at half time when we went in level and low and behold he changed nothing I'm sure people are gonna make excuses for him and say it's too early to judge
But from what I've just seen today, this cսnt is David Moyes in a mission impossible mask

This isn't about somebody's feelings. It's about professionalism. Maybe it's naive to expect any from a dildo merchant and as others have stated this is far from the first time the owners have shown their arses in this type of thing. The carousel goes round and round with the same result and only Sullivan remains. It is more evidence of his incompetence as an owner. Anyone in demand isn't going to choose to work with someone like that unless they are paid well over value, and we all no that ain't happening.

When does Mr Boring the Geography teacher get unveiled?
Had his look down as more of a nonce Maths Teather that religiously gave Stacey with the big knockers detention every Friday afternoon as he knocked one out from under his desk.

Would Sully get Moyes back again? …… surely not
Of course he wouldn't, its bat shit crazy to even contemplate it as are the suggestion of Sean Dyche if Everton sack him

why the fuck would we do that??? Moyes to Everton on the other hand, not that im bothered!
Hopefully all this speculation and rumor will see the Spaniard depart as would imagine all this stuff is undermining him and the board may follow through anyway as its a clear as day he is finished and they have been if nothing else sniffing around for a replacement which again undermines the incumbent even more, if not Potter then a Johnny foreigner would be my guess, but what the fuck do i know

.
But im still not convinced how true all the rumors are, seems a photo of the Scarf botherer and Potter has emerged but that could have been taken in the summer? the YT channels and social media have picked up on it and so the rumor escalates.
Shouldn't you be out surfing or something?

It's certainly not a good look and not a good way to go about things
My concern is it only takes Potter to tell us to do one to make it a real shit storm.
Precisely my point.
Enter the Moyesiah?
Yeah for a laugh, go on then

AOI - Terry Brown is still at the club, mate. He bought back in a few seasons ago. Oh yeah, we've got the golden generation of ownership: Sully, Brown, Brady, that weird Yank, the Czech guy who is more interested in Royal Mail and a dead bloke's shares floating around in a family trust.
Ag! Did make me chuckle that. What a fucking turn out!

Have to say I'm massively underwhelmed by the thought of Potter coming in. He has no pedigree to talk to. A huge failure at Chelsea. Does he have the charisma and authority to manage top players or is he just a lower league manager that is good at working with budget squads.

I hope the next time Potters job is on the line (other than when he failed miserably with Chelseas Billions) that his potential successor sleeps on it as well. The arrogance of the twat.
Wise up .they all do it
It's a cut throat business...they all know the score and are all very rich men.
Loppy will walk away with a topped up already multi million bank balance ..courtesy of WHU , so I couldn't give a monkeys about him .
No, it says more about the bloke to sleep on whether he wants to manage us or not, after 2 months of already thinking about it, irrespective of Lopetegui. He either wants the fucking job or he doesn't?

It's certainly not a good look and not a good way to go about things, but I'm not as 'offended' as some are about it all. Yes, Lop will have his professional pride, but these people are multi millionaires and not your average bod in an average job. They know the score and are fair game as far as I'm concerned and walk away with their pockets full up, so I really wouldn't worry so much about it all.
My concern is it only takes Potter to tell us to do one to make it a real shit storm. Suspect all will unravel today.

It's all a cunning plan to get Lope to walk and save a couple of million.
But then surely he could sue for constructive dismissal. In fact, if I were him, that's exactly what I'd do.

He may be desperate for work like Moyes was in 2017...
Wasn't Bilic something like their 6th choice to replace Allardyce because everyone on the circuit saw his shabby exit from us and decided to give Sullivan a wide berth? The parasitic poisonous porno dwarf has only doubled down on that with Moyes the last couple of years and Lop now. Anyone with any self-respect would stay well away from us.

Basically a repeat of the Avram Grant-Martin O'Neill mid-season sacking that didn't happen.
Best hope Potter's morals are far worse than O'Neill's.

Let down yet again! It’s the hope that kills you

Well, no, not let down. Lope may be unaware of any decision and he did take training today. Why does that mean he isn't getting sacked? If, as I have been told today, Everton had made a formal enquiry with Potter, then it seems Sulli now needs to move quick. And he will need to agree terms with Potter before sacking El Flop. I assume that process would not involve El Flop.
Let down in the sense that it hasn’t actually happened yet. I never said it won’t happen, because, I don’t know. Plus at that point it hadn’t become public that we were waiting on a response from Potter.
Happy to go with your scenario and see what happens next.
