US Election, November 5th

And a bit eerily and worryingly Bonfire night!!!! Let's hope it doesn't descend into that though 🤞

Never know an election be in the news so much, all over Aussie TV and expect the worlds TV as well, so many (non Septic's) have an opinion on it as well? WTF

fuck knows who wins, personally don't care as both sides seem like a pack of cunts, so IMHO there will be no winner for the American people, the best we can hope for is that one side wins convincingly and so less chance of it kicking off but i bet whomever wins none of the doomsayers predictions will come to pass in any shape or form, it will just be business as usual and snouts in the trough for those associated with the winning side.

America will still be a freak show and your average American no better or worse off than before.

People are free to seek the safety and opportunities the U S provides as long as they do it legally.

See, told you it wasn't hard.

If it were that simple then people wouldn’t be seeking the relatively safe haven and better life the US seems to offer onlyonebraincell. The problem you really have is with the people who are aware of these things when you simply can’t connect cause, effect and context up into any kind of coherent whole as soon as it goes beyond the “I’m the good guy, he’s the bad”.

It’s all just “word salad” for you and you’re lack of a sense of smell is only the start of it.

As do i , pickle son. But let's have some balance in there so that we're seen to be fair.
The entire Epstein/ P.Diddy guest lists are out in vocal support for Harris, so that camp is about a million miles from being the bastions ot virtue.

And there's already been 3 instances - in Bucks County, Lancaster County (both pennsylvania) and Cobb County (georgia) - where judges and district attorneys have had to intervene because of questionable behaviour and in at least one case, outright fraud,  so painting this as some kind of good versus evil battle is a long,  long way wide of the mark.

Much like the UK election,  there seems to be no one to vote FOR - just a question of the lesser of two evils at an individual level

This is very simple fourpence. Trump is all about preventing anyone entering the United States illegally. No need for the bullshit word salad you served up,it isn't difficult to understand. As I said earlier, there's a reason why the Dems want illegals to have a vote, something Trump would dismiss instantly.

cant help with your other question having never had a sense of smell.

Well quite, sven son,  Trump gives you more than enough material to go at him with. Picking on one of the only logical and coherent things he's ever said is a somewhat bizarre strategy.

Wish he’d extend this enormous concern with legality to his own activities and that of his most ardent supporters.

You could feed a family of four on one of H&P word salads.

Trumps deportation policy is to deport any and all people that have gained entry - and are living in the country- illegally.

The clue is in the word illegally. Frankly it's a sad indictment of the world is these days that this is even remotely controversial. It isn't to any sane, law abiding citizens. The only people that support illegal activity are the people who benefit from it. Same as all other illegal activity.

If a secure border implies taking the gloves off in the hybrid war and making sure the laws of civilised countries are not abused to harm people, then I’m all for secure borders. But that’s not what Trump is about, is he.

As for fracking, do you like the smell of hydrocarbons in the morning, onlyonebraincell?

My expectation is that Trump will shade the marginal states & get the W.
Have said previously that old man Biden should have been designated a one term president & given the Democrats 4 years + to develop a candidate
Definitely the most extraordinary US election in our lifetime with the President dropping out and the presence of Trump who is the most odd candidate since Caligula made his horse a consul

I reckon deporting swathes of illegal immigrants would prove popular over here.

"Which of Trump’s policies would you like to see implemented in the U.K.?"

I'd settle for a secure border and a lift of the fracking ban.

Dems are on full corruption overload, doing anything whether that is smearing the opponent with misinformation/lies/defamation or sending out their minions to wreak havoc. If Trump does pull it off the meltdown from the left here and there will be a thing of beauty.

Non Americans have an opinion because it directly impacts their lives.

Whoever wins will move the markets and the dollar rate. Both will have wide reaching impacts.

As Manny said, it’s compelling viewing whoever wins.

Harris’s approach seems to be rolling out celebrity endorsements and telling everyone how awful Trump is.
If she actually talked more about policies she might do better.

amazing to be that the entire thing hangs on half a dozen states.
apparently whoever wins Pennsylvania will take the other two swing states in the rust belt (historically speaking).

Also read that the early postal votes have shown a better than expected numbers for Trump.

Think the Dem machine is just desperate to cling to power, Harris is just a puppet having her strings pulled by Pelosi, Schumer etc. Why else would they insist that those who aren't registered citizens (illegals) be allowed a vote? Trump can be very unlikeable but the Dems are on a different level when it comes to corruption and hypocrisy.

Yep, it'll be messy regardless of who wins. Already been court rulings extending early voter deadlines, and a whole bunch of places where some pretty dodgy shit is going on, including that absolute fucking cretin from Labour breaking election rules. Unfathomable that the richest country in the world is unable to run an election properly.

Bookies on both sides of the Atlantic have Trump as odds on favourite. Dems might have replaced Biden too early. If they'd left it a couple more months she could have got away with reading from a teleprompter for the whole campaign,  but she's had to do some unscripted stuff and that's shown up that she has the IQ of a fence post.

I've been saying for ages that regardless who wins, it's going to kick off big time after the election. If Trump gets in the BLM/Antifa lot will go wild.
If it's the cackling cսnt in the white house, Trumps supporters will be loading up their guns.
If Harris does win, the whole country could be turned into a much bigger version of California which has gone to hell.

Interesting times ahead.
