A lot of the sprints in the Paralympics with the blades are more exciting than the Olympics Until it goes wrong like with Oscar Pistorius Lots of sports that noone has no interest in for 4 years but good to see once in a while Makes it quick moving so you dont get too bored Good background sport until football starts up again

"Looking forward to this - something for nearly everyone to get interested in (unless you hate sport). I watched ‘Sprint’ on Netflix last week, thought it was excellent and gave a lot of insight into the psyche of a sprinter."

"Fucking love the Olympics. Well up for wall to wall coverage for the next couple of weeks. Can't see us doing as well as n the last few but still great watching the Brits do their thing. A lot of these are the athletes I admire the most. Granted it's more professional now and lottery funding really helps a lot of them balance things, but so much less money fame and exposure than the football or cricket team for example. Holding down a job and 5am training starts through winter all for the love of it. Nobodies for 3 years and 50 weeks, and heroes for those 2 weeks."

It's GB & NI not UK innit. Yes I know it's the same. Dont know why either. Phall - yes the Paralympics will be happening and thousands of people with huge disadvantages in life will still achieve more than anyone in your entire bloodline has or ever will.
