"Just watched the last series of Better Call Saul. Never seen any of the others (loved Breaking Bad though) Off work sick for a few days so is it worth smashing through the rest of them? Also, I recommend Safe to everyone. It's a bit cheesy and sanitised (very ""middle class suburban"") but it's good if you like mystery stuff."

"Pwop.. I watched a few more episodes. I like it, but I'm wary of recommending it in case you invest your time and end up cross with me. Episode 4 cracked me up."

I thought BCS started off slow this series but improved a lot towards the end.

"Norman don’t get me wrong, I really like Saul it just feels a bit long winded at the moment. Couple of things - I’m not used to waiting a week for one episode now. I already know where it all ends I guess with BB so I fear they are flogging as much out of it now as we are very close to that point"

"Half way through Informer (BBC). Clunky writing but has kept me interested. Could be a lot better with further script development but the we don't throw money at drama like Netflix, Amazon, Strarz, etc. The world is be changing."

naughty see you what youre getting at regarding BCS...but BB had the same criticism...wasnt an issue personally...but can see why it would bother some the writers are immaculate in both..they dont miss a trick.so i guess its a small down side that is worth the overall product?

War and Peace's problems extended well beyond any mumbling.

Gave up on Maniac after episode 1 - I felt it would demand too much dedication and attention and wasn’t really delivering anything that new or interesting. It was all very dull. Should I have continued?

"TBF Nursey I think mumbling has been complained about in quite a few TV series over the past couple of years, Poldark, War and Peace, Broadchurch etc etc etc"

"Granted, I am in my dotage, but this is the only English language series for which I've needed subtitles. It's Jonah Hill's appalling mumbling to blame, not my earsight. I'm eleventy three, you know."

"You're going deaf in your dotage Nursey, just turn up the TV so that all of your neighbours can also hear it, and you'll be fine."

I've started on Maniac. Mainly because Julia Garner is in it. Love the little stuff like the dog-do robots (they're actually a splendid idea). But I've had to turn the subtitles on due to all the mumbling. Didn't drama schools used to train actors to ENUNCIATE?

The Haunting of Hill House I am 3 episodes in. It is very good. Perhaps the best scary / horror TV show I’ve seen since ghost watch
