"Are all these late goals lucky? Or does it show good fitness, calmness under pressure, and a bit of fight in the team? Was a poor match but we should be well conditioned to that over the years. We won, we top the group, we’re in the league cup quarters and looking up in the league. Not a bad time for a terrible season"

"Takashi Miike 2:46 Fri Dec 1 Re: ‚ö? Backa Topola v West Ham - Official Match Thread You‚Äôre the only one who has self-identified as hysterical and taking things personally there Thicki. Thanks for stepping up. Probably a first for you. There‚Äôs a rational criticism that he‚Äôs found a way to win by relying on counter-attacking football, but the standard of play is poor and then there‚Äôs a clearly hysterical ‚Äúhe‚Äôs utterly clueless‚Äù which is far more emotional and hysterical as it‚Äôs not backed up any sort of fact. Didn‚Äôt someone post that he‚Äôs the most successful manger in west ham history in terms of win percentage? That‚Äô may come with a few ‚Äúbuts‚Äù or fears that it may not continue but he‚Äôs not clueless or out of his depth or however you drama queen types wants to put it."

"More turgid, uninspiring dogshit. Muggings here up late again to watch what is meant to be football, bailed at half time which was the right call. We can't do anything, utterly shit. As for Soucek, like most I've never been his biggest fan, but if you're going to continue to slag off the player who is winning us games every week right now then you are going to start to look fucking daft, it's not as if anyone else is doing anything is it. Need to ask Moyes for this weeks lotto numbers, luckiest manager in the game right now."

"It’s all a bit hysterical isn’t it - the football may not be outstanding to watch but all this shit that he is clueless or doesn’t know what he’s doing is stupid. His record in the league is better than all but a handful of managers and he’s won a European cup and has just qualified, hopefully at the top of the group. Were I I’d-table and hopefully on the up. It’s fair to say we’re winning, but not winning well or in style,, but some of the whining is fucking ridiculous."

"After watching the highlight, looked like a dull game! Soucek took the goal weel but can't help but feel that we are going to struggle in the knockout games if we carry on playing this negative style of football. Got away with it with another late goal in this game, AGAIN but our luck is going to run out at some point."

"Is it just me or does anyone notice that we rarely play through the middle. It’s always out wide. It just feels very easy to defend against. It’s also very hard for our strikers who would normally want to be central and make runs behind defenders when there isn’t any play making coming from the middle. As much as I’m happy (actually more relieved!) with the win and Soucek / cornet combo was great, I’m still gutted by the way we play. Mainly because I don’t see us gradually get better at this football thing. The team isn’t improving. You can’t actually point to any improvements in the way the team plays. I see individuals getting better but not the actual patterns of play. I can’t imagine what they talk about in training. Is there a team in world football that plays the game like us? I can’t think of a team we are trying to emulate? I used to think it was atletico, but they don’t do the shit we do. Game after game. Whether it’s a crap European team or a top PL one, it’s still the same poor style of play. And we all know how it ends. Your luck runs out. I don’t want a lucky team, I want a team that knows how to play football properly!"

"TM, I never listened to the podcast I think mainly because I can't stand that smug prick Wilson who always scores against us, good player though. Also Antonio who i like should let his football do the talking, it's a distraction. But I believe what you say. Anyway as you guessed I was being sarcastic. I never watched or listened tonight because I knew it would be same old. I Googled the score at 85mins it was 0-0. I gave up my season tkcket 2 years ago afte a few years at the LS. I won't be paying to see Moyes teams. I was given a free ticket for Olympiacos by my sons and brother who has a season ticket goes every game but declined glad I did as was same crap. I just can't watch it. Can't wait for Moyes to leave at end of season because our fluke results will dry up soon and our defence won't win us many games."

"No cos win lose or draw the football is shit the players play out of position the tactics ate prehistoric, we scrape victories from the jaws of defeat against the worst teams put in front of us by vitue of having some good players who remember how to play inspite of Moyes not because of his planning preparation and tactics which as everyone but the Jock arse lickers can see..."

"I was wrong about Moyes I hold my hands up. He keeps winning, he said he is all about winning. I know the football is terrible, but we keep coming up with winning goals in the last few minutes, there is no way this is not deliberate its happened far too many times for Moyes not to be telling them to try to defend all game and keep a clean sheet probably to conserve our energy then when the opponents are tired attack with all our might. Genius Moyesball in its planning. All hail the Moyessiah!"

So just to be clear - When we win it‚Äôs because of the players. When we lose it‚Äôs because of Moyes. When he plays the squad players he‚Äôs a cսnt. When he doesn‚Äôt play the squad players he‚Äôs a cսnt. Can‚Äôt win really can he.

"I would sooner find that I’d won a lumbar puncture in my Christmas stocking than a season ticket under a Moyes managed team. We played fucking Collier Row Juniors and made them look like world beaters. Fucking abysmal football , fucking abysmal management."

"Rumford You have to see the bigger picture. We're playing worse against even poorer teams. A performance was needed after a season of terrible performances, yes we did win again A better performance would have still beaten Tapioca. They didn't offer anything too. A manager who refuses to play someone who then produces a cross that wins the game. A young striker plays for the first time and helps us win. A aged slow striker produces nothing time and time again but gets minutes instead of younger players. You see a common theme His treatment of squad players playing in the wrong positions plus his disgusting use of the Youth tonight in handing out tracksuits to the players after the final whistle. I just can't believe there are people who watch these games and back him"

"Yes, although we must acknowledge the great record of wins in Europe over the last 3 years, and the win-is-a-win stoic justification when we win games, there’s no hiding from the fact it was yet another joyless performance tonight. I think we’re all getting weary of this, no matter what side of the Moyes camp you are ion. Aside from the Brighton win, you’d have to go back to the semi-final since the last time we could even cheer a performance. Even the final was a suffering experience for 89 minutes. Win or lose, we need to start smiling again when we watch our team."

"Yo Sold, you're back mate! Good to see you. I think I may be the happiest West Ham supporter in the world tonight as I was travelling home from my holiday and completely forgot we were playing! The fact is that we do this shit time and time again. Players we need to remember are human beings too. You don't tear up the under 23s, go home and get in a box under the bed and stay there until you're used to kill a couple of minutes at the end of a game once in a blue moon. You don't get to be an outstanding player for Burnley, sign for a big London club and almost NEVER get a minute on the pitch. You don't leave Brentford for a bigger club and get hooked after an hour HOWEVER well you play and expect your confidence not to be shot to shit and just be expected to perform brilliantly in the next game. I try and stay out of Moyes' man management but this is now getting fucking ridiculous. And for you 'yeah if I was earning £60 fucking grand a week...' wankers, you can all fuck off too. ...and relax."

"Absolute shit but also massively unsurprising. We are completely inept in possession. Good to see Cornet is still alive, and Soucek to get another goal. His attempt at chipping the keeper from 40 odd yards was hilariously bad."
