What is the point of Kretinsky?
Major shareholder in the Post Office which is in the shit As West Ham part owner he seemingly has no interest in taking control or driving the club on with substantial investment. Seems to be just a cuckoo in the nest riding the value of his investment up on the backs of fans. The club is going nowhere until an active committed owner with a serious ON FIELD plan emerges. That means Kretinsky needs to join Sullivan in heading for the exit

"Manuel 12:20 Yeah but the 'excitement' is all down to us placing that on him rather than anyone else. He's not come and made loads of bold statement or declared he'll take over as far as I'm aware, and we're not privvy at all to what goes on behind the scenes. Of course it's a little disappointing as you say given this is football it seems he doesn't want to buy the club, heavily invest and move us on, but it's his business (literally) if he just saw an opportunity to make money and took it. It's a shame but such is life and there's fuck all we can do about it."

Re: What is the point of Kretinsky?
Surely the point of Kretinsky is to make money for Kretinsky. He's not answerable or accountable to anyone else for his choices of where and when to invest.

"""Still waiting for you to turn up at my seat so that you can make that Glitter reference to my face, you bottle dropping, know fuck all, cսnt."" Haven't been to a game since you sent the WHO mail. Yes, you did leave your seat and block number on WHO mail, but ""accidentally,"" I'm sure, left out your row number. Mind you, I could just enter the block and find your row, from your vile stench. And I responded to your ""Take it to WHO mail"" some while ago, once I'd seen it, stalker Gary"

Re: What is the point of Kretinsky?
"As West Ham part owner he seemingly has no interest in taking control or driving the club on with substantial investment. He invested £125 million in the club, with a new share issue. is that not ""substantial?"" The club decided to use under half of that to pay off shareholders loans. The Dildos loans were interest bearing, so that saves the club money and the rest of the investment, for player acquisitions. Clearing those loans, also makes the club a little more attractive., to other potential investors."
Re: What is the point of Kretinsky?
"it's not a load of bollocks though is it - they are facts. from memory about half his initial investment was invested into the playing squad and half into paying down the clubs debt. neither of those would happen without him, so it's not fuck all is it?"

Re: What is the point of Kretinsky?
"goose the club was just as healthy before Kretinsky rocked up, from what I gather the Directors loans were paid off from his initial investment with £60 million ISH going on investment, I've player purchases. This summer we have spent the Declan Rice money whilst being told we can't invest more due to FFP, similar to this window where all we can do is get a few loans in without selling first. Many fell for the vision of a very rich man backed with wealth of £15 billion and an option to buy the Club outright as a new dawn, but this being West Ham it was a false one and we're back to scrubbing around looking for a loan striker to fill the void."
Re: What is the point of Kretinsky?
"He has/had an option to buy a controlling stake in the club but hasn't taken up that option as of yet. Since his arrival the club has invested heavily in the side, the structure off the field appears to have improved and the club is in a healthy financial position. What were you expecting? There was never any promise of investment to the levels of man city or chelsea."

"Spot on Manuel, we have and always will be just an investment opportunity for him, fair enough but let's not expect too much if not anything from him, which makes him the perfect partner for Sullivan"

"El - Yea maybe, but when it's football you hope that said investor has a bit of passion about the club and doesn't just see it as a money making exercise. Remember back to when he come in there was some excitement, correct? He's been a massive disappointment the four eyed potato salad prick."

‘Seems to be just a cuckoo in the nest riding the value of his investment up on the backs of fans.’ So basically a businessman investing in a business to make money from it. Who would have thought it? Seems people are fixated on him being a white knight saviour instead. That’s our bad rather than his.
