Re: George Galloway
"What a strange and bitter post, Ratched. However, I have spent the best part of a decade wiping the floor with Brexit, Trump and you rabid right populists in general, so it’s hardly surprising you’d never dare to confront my actual posts. Suffice to say, if you weren’t basically a miserable racist, you wouldn’t have been so easily manipulated into Brexit and letting the Tories screw you over and would be voting Labour as the real party of social transfers to your benefit (though not so much mine)."

Re: George Galloway
"The outburst by our midget indian PM was bizarre, I find it hard to believe that he sees Galloway winning an election as a threat to ""our democracy"". Bearing in mind Sunak and Cameron were installed in a back handed manner, he's got a fucking cheek reading out this particular script from his masters."

"""He’s certainly not my cup of tea either; however, I also accept that he is representing his constituents according to his political line"" Bravo Pickle! It gladdens my heart to see this level of personal growth following on from your years of psychotic meltdowns over the Brexit vote. Wonderful to see you embrace the spirit of democracy and accept that it sometimes does not go your way with this newfound lack of rancour. I am confident, should it come to pass, that with your new maturity you will be equally sanguine and philosophical should Mr Trump be elected President of the United States once again. I equally expect you will not disappoint me by responding in a mealy-mouthed way and moving the goalposts regarding your comment as quoted above."

Re: George Galloway
"Nurse Ratched 12:28 Sat Mar 2 Actually, believe it or not I wasn't posting about myself. For what it's worth I don't particularly like Galloway but I don't think he's a terrorist-enabler or the threat to the world that the other posters seem to be screaming about. In fact I have seen him defending the UK. I remember during the Scottish independence debate he was appearing on Question Time from Glasgow. A kid put his hand up and said 'why should we be tethered to England when they hate us and keep all the money? If I went down to London and they heard my accent they would beat me up'. The SNP representative nodded sagely and Galloway turned on her and said 'are you just going to let him believe that? It's a complete myth and you know it'. He turned to the kid and said 'Sir, you are completely wrong about the English, they don't hate us and in fact if you go to the boardroom of ANY successful company in the city of London you will find a Scot. As for them 'keeping all the money' that is the practice of very few but in my local constituency (Tower Hamlets?) I have seen some of the worst living conditions anywhere in the world, let alone Scotland '. I thought that was quite impressive. I don't think he's anyone's croney, he just says it as he sees it."

Re: George Galloway
"Maybe he is a bit of a wankstain. He’s certainly not my cup of tea either; however, I also accept that he is representing his constituents according to his political line and while this is a representative democracy, what I need to do is come up with an effective counter line if I want to take his seat off him. But then maybe he is expressing different “Christian values” to yours?"

Re: George Galloway
"Galloway is dangerous. What good as an MP is he going to do for the people of Rochdale apart from campaigning against Israel (& he is anti Israel rather than Pro Palestinian like many Palestinian supporters) for the large minority of Muslim constituents. He has also stated that his new Workers Party will field candidates at the elections in large Muslim areas such as Ilford where the Imam at the Redbridge Islamic centre has been caught on video quoting verses of the Koran that tell believers to kill Jews & infidels, which the Police are now investigating. So he will do little for Rochdale but pander to Islamists, and is promoting hate in places like Ilford, and will also split the.Labour vote which only helps the Torries."

Re: George Galloway
I see the latest wheeze is to describe those that carry out what Islam stands for as ISLAMISTS as though they are unrepresentative 'extremists' Muslim values = Paedophilia Homophobia & Misogyny Christian values = Gathering enormous wealth and assets while people starve .... and Paedophilia

"I didn’t ask him to tell me what Christian values are. If you read my post again, you will find I asked for clarification on what HIS “Christian values” are especially in the context of his conflict with Muslims he sees as a threat and his assumption that “Christian values” are also “western values”."

"I see May I ask - what are these ""Christian values"" of which you speak? And are they only available in a ""Christian church"". Are they Catholic church Christian values? Or maybe Orthodox church but which one, the Greek or the Russian? Or maybe they are Presbytarian? Or Holy Roller?"

Re: George Galloway
"Our country has been built on Christian values, you don’t have to go to church to see that,. Personally I would rather it stay that way, rather than Muslim values and you don’t have to go to a mosque to see that either."
Re: George Galloway
"JFK: what are you scared of? Yep, there are a minority of Muslims in UK that may well hate Christian values. But that is the point - a minority. In fact, a tiny minority. Most are law biding, hard working and respectable to Christian and western cultural values. What makes me laugh are the voices who stand up for ‘Christian’ values when they haven’t set foot in a church for years nor seriously give a hoot themselves about anything connected with Christianity. So, back to my question to you and others who agree with you: what are you scared of?"
