"I know Cresswell is loaded, but I I would have taken him for an Aldi or Asda man. Is that the truth or a load of bullshit?"

"Imo we will struggle to play a pressing, attacking game against a fair few teams simply because Moyes has not recruited players fir that way of playing. The squad of 14 he uses contains too many that are old and/or slow. But against teams like Burnley and others that are struggling we should be effective at pushing forward. Rebuilding needed along with a proper coach not old school dictator like Moyes imo. Need to replace the following as starters OR even as squad backup Aguerd ( not physically up to it in the Prem ) Zouma ( crocked, slow , unable to pass ) JWP ( slow , not able to compete well enough physically) Phillips ( slow and plays like he’s 40 ) Soucek ( slow and unable to pass / control wl enough ) Coufal ( ok but not as a starter every gake as he’s getting old and slow) Antonio ( old and technically inept but ok as impact sub) Need to bring in 5 or 6 players imo especially with a new coach who does not play Moyesball. So pretty much anyone who we get to replace Moyes"

"J.Riddle 9:49 Sun Mar 10 Feel for Moyes? I appreciate your optimism, and yes, teams down the bottom can be tough to beat, but even Stevie Wonder would have seen that Burnley play out from the back but are absolutely shit at it. It took 45 seconds of pressing for us to score a goal. Moyes is a fucking div for sitting back in the first half like he did."

"RM10 11:07 Sun Mar 10 Nobody cares about Spurs, but its clearly a relevant comparison. They made a change and play front football against their direct peers. We sit still and play backs to the wall shit yourself football against a properly shit Burnley team. A team who’s captain was shipped out of our club for not being anywhere near good enough and barely kicked a ball for us. And as for Villa, do they play a better brand of football than us and sit 4th in the table? Yes on both points."

"First half was the worst I have seen us play all season. No pattern of play, no energy, no urgency and no game plan... Against the worst team in the league. Second half was obviously much better and arguably we could have won, but it is worrying how many chances we give away every game. Burnley still had 2 or 3 really good chances in the 2nd half despite us dominating and playing better. They could have nicked it. Our defence needs a complete revamp and you can see why Moyes was desperate to get Maguire in back in the summer."

"That first half display was unbelievably awful, embarrasing and cowardly, I know we may have to play defensively against the top teams but for Moyes to set us up to play so timidly against the bottom club and at home is unforgiveable. Yes the decisions went against us and we were better after he made the changes at half time but I've lost any patience I had left for Moyes and just want him gone in the summer if not sooner, if I hadn't already bought tickets for Thursday night I wouldn't be going after today's performance"

"Branded, pitch in the 1st half looked fine on my overpriced Spanish stream. Whatever the reality was, can it excuse our abysmal 1st half performance? Have to agree at half time I never imagined I would type that overall I thought I thought we did well and we deserved to win."

"Didn't see the first half, which as just as well seeing some of the comments here. Second half showed why Bowen should be on the right, was far more effective. Ings I feel a tad sorry for. If I remember rightly he was MOM the last time he played and hasn't kicked a ball again until today. He can still finish but clearly needs to be in a team that plays on the front foot. Do we need an entirely new back four? Aguerd probably not fort but looks like he is made of glass. I like Mav but is he a Premier League defender? Likewise Coufal and we all know Cress is finished. Phillips and JWP off at half time? Mate of mine is a Southampton fan and can't understand how bad he is compared to his performances at Southampton. Doesn't say much mind you they were relegated!"

"Meanwhile Spurs go away to fourth placed Villa and put four past them. They were where we are last season in terms of style of play under Conte, and I think fourth when they sacked him. Nobody questioned their fans for pushing for him to be sacked. Look at the difference when they lose their best player but play a more expansive game and don’t respect anyone. Cue the ridiculous “go and support Spurs then” comments from Moyes in divs when clearly just pointing out what a change in style does. Their supporters are loving it, whereas our stadium is like a morgue every game."

"What have I overanalysed Mex? You think overall we did well. We blagged a last minute equaliser against the team bottom of the league, with 20 defeats in 28 games, and 14 points all season. That is not doing well. It’s all a direct result of treating every team like they are better than us. It’s absolutely pathetic"

I don’t think we were unlucky at all. When you set up playing two of your best players (Bowen and Paqueta) out of position to accommodate a negative tactical approach then you deserve to be 2-0 down at HT to a bad team.

"Ron, don't get too analitical on every comment. I just felt we should have won and overall played well enough to win. To be fair Burley were much better than I expected. I think they deserve a bit more respect for showing us or Moyes up in the first half. We had 2 decent penalty calls, but neither strong enough to get too upset about. Ings 1st goal should have stood, you roll that line nonsense back a 1000th of a second and Antonio is on side. When it's like that it's not clear and they should go with the on field decision. Then we had 2 cross bars and I lost count of the fuck ups in front of goal where it was there to score and we chocked time and time again. Kudus needs to find his scoring or assisting boots, because all he is contributing is increasing our rather poor possession stats, which is not good enough."

Never easy to beat? That has to be a wind up?They’ve lost 20 of 28 games. They are the very definition of easy to beat. Same as Sheffield United and we drew that as well.
