It’s so open to manipulation. The authorities seem to have absolute discretion on how much time to add and how it is administered. They then decide whether they want to add more for stoppages within stoppage time, or whether to allow an attack to finish or a corner to be taken. It isn’t administered the same for everyone. In Real Madrid’s game v Valencia, the referee gave a corner and blew up when the cross came in. Bellingham gets his goal chalked off and then sent off for dissent. What’s the fucking point? There should be a countdown clock in stoppage time that stops when the ball is out of play."
