Saturday football

"As the business end of the season approaches, so almost every game assumes some significance at the top or the bottom. Arsenal and Man City both play away on Saturday and both will be expected to win. Liverpool also visit Man U, who apparently have to learn to win, on Sunday. Each of those three will be hoping for a slip-up from the others. At the bottom, Everton and Burnley engage in a huge six-pointer, while Luton will hope to put Bournemouth to the sword and boost their survival chances. Forest have a tough assignment at Spurs. As for us, we could find ourselves ending the weekend in sixth place, if we beat Wolves convincingly and Man U get a good thumping from Liverpool. On the other hand... *SATURDAY* CRYSTAL PALACE vs MANCHESTER CITY (1230) Away win. ASTON VILLA vs BRENTFORD (1500) Home win. EVERTON vs BURNLEY (1500) Home win. FULHAM vs NEWCASTLE UNITED (1500) Draw. LUTON TOWN vs BOURNEMOUTH (1500) Draw. WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS vs WEST HAM UNITED (1500) Draw. BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION vs ARSENAL (1730) Away win. *SUNDAY* MANCHESTER UNITED vs LIVERPOOL (1530) Away win. SHEFFIELD UNITED vs CHELSEA (1730) Away win. TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs NOTTINGHAM FOREST (1800) Home win."

That is a fucking horrendous miss from Wood of Forest. Less than 3 yards out with a virtual open goal and blasts it against the post. That was a tap in.

"Good game of football, we ain't finishing above the Mancs so I wouldn't worry about them getting a point. Besides, I read on here we're finishing mid-table?"

The modern day player is very astute at winning penalties. The actual tackle missed but he made sure his foot caught the defender.

Kelleher lucky that he didn't get a hand to Fernandes shot. Was out of the box and would surely have been a red.

Liverpool could and should have been 3-0 up but have gone to water. Klopp on the verge of a coronary

Carragher is fucking gutted. Absolute comedy. That was a lovely goal. Just a shame that Man U winning is bad for us.

Both goals down to errors by young players Mainoo (poor mans Flynn Downes) marking Diaz at a corner and just leaves him unmarked to chase the ball Liverpool totally in command so Quidditch plays a horrendous ball across the pitch to Fernandes

Freddie Potts is playing for Wycombe in the EFL Trophy Final. Ex-youth player Kieran Sadlier is also playing. Gideon Kodua is cup tied.

lowlife 7:17 I noticed that too. Weird. I’d have thought it would be a really unhelpful thing to have all over his gloves. Might explain why he’s been so shit at times

In fantasyland there are two things I’d love more than anything. Beating the bin dippers twice before the end of the season.

Onana has a tub of vaseline in his goal and has just wiped some all over his gloves. Blokes a lunatic - never seen that before.

"A decent watch the Glasgow Derby. 3-3 Celtic will feel they threw it away. A bit of sofr VAR, seems the normal these days. Rangers in poll position to win the title, in their hands with a game in hand"
