"Last throw of the dice gents as this evening have been trying to put the answers on since 4pm. Think possibly half the problem is the bigger the thread the worse it is. Is it possible to give me some sort of mod status to delete all posts once answers have been placed on the thread and then start again each day, thus only having max of two quizzes on the page at any one time? I learnt a lot from that as well including the deception. I'm watching a series on Netflix at the moment the rise and fall of Hitler. Didn't know a lot about how he came to power. So many paths that had things gone another way he would probably never had been known.

"19, for me thanks Zico. The only question I got wrong was question 14. I said that the deception plan for D - Day, was codenamed Operation Fortitude, not Operation Bodyguard. I'd not heard of the latter. Fortitude was to convince the Germans, the invasion would be at Pas De Calais, Bodyguard being the overall deception plan. Good to learn something new. Henry Fonda, played Theodore Roosevelt III, in The Longest Day. Roosevelt died of a heart attack in July 1944. I came across his grave when visiting the Normandy cemeteries"
