What is the format for PL2
There will be only one division made up of clubs with Category One Academies. At present there are 26 such clubs. Teams: Arsenal, Man Utd, Aston Villa, Middlesbrough, Blackburn Rovers, , Newcastle United, Brighton, Norwich, Chelsea, Nott'm Forest, Crystal Palace, Reading, Derby County, Southampton, Everton, Stoke City, Fulham, Sunderland, Leeds United, Spurs, Leicester City, West Brom, Liverpool, West Ham United, Man City, Wolves. Those teams will be divided into five pots based on performances over the past three seasons. Fixtures will be determined by a draw made according to clubs’ positions in the five seeded pots. There will be 20 Match weeks, with each team playing 20 regular-season matches throughout the season. Teams will play each club in their own seeding pot once, as well as three to five teams in all other pots either home or away. Results (three points for a win and one point for a draw) will generate a table ranking the 26 teams. After the regular season of 20 Match weeks has completed, the top 16 teams will qualify for a single elimination playoff. Teams will be drawn against each other based on their league positions, for example the team finishing first facing the team that finished 16th. These will be one-off elimination matches with the higher-seeded team at home. In addition, the teams finishing the regular season in the top 12 will be invited to take part in the next season’s Premier League International Cup competition.

The 2016 win was for the U21s. It was one of the last games at the Boleyn Ground.

They beat Hull 1-0 at home with a 90th minutes winner, but lost the second leg to a goal in the 93rd minute.

We won 5-3 on penalties.

Declan Rice missed the first leg, but played in the second leg.

A few of our other players made it to some degree. I suppose Cullen and then Diangana are the pick. Great things were expected of Oxford but it didn’t work out for him.

Hull had a young player called Jarrod Bowen playing for them. I wonder what happened to him?

I think it's something to do with the FA.
if there's a Cup Game being televised (Villa V Cardiff )
then the can't live stream it.
not sure but something like that.

Both Orford and Casey are absent for this, not sure why. Are the 1st team squad off somewhere ? Doesn't usually stop U21 players playing if they are involved in any games or tour.
Strange one.

U21's will do well to keep their winning run going in Orford's and Casey's absence.
Herrick not playing either.
Must be some squad party

Any streams Miike?
the main site now saying this......

"West Ham United's development fixture against Derby County will not be live streamed. However, fans can stay up to date with the action through a live blog on the Club’s website and app, while a match report and reaction will follow shortly after the full-time whistle. Highlights will be available on Saturday. "

probably mainly due to the derby side of things, it doesn't look like they film many games and maybe they refused cameras from our side?
No problem, just pop up to Derby and livestream it yourself. Let us know where we can see your stream.

Thanks in advance, Miike!

is that Jnr Robinson on the bench ?
Thought he had gone to Dagenham on loan.
Many thought he might break through to the first team squad.
Seems to have gone backwards
