I don’t think any centre back we have now are better than Zouma
And the bitch of it is we've bought at least one centreback for about the last 7 windows.

Problem is that getting rid of Lopetegui isn't solving our issues. The only reason we've gone backwards this season is down to Sullivan thinking he knows better than everyone else. It's the same pattern every time, and he's going to opt for the cheap route every time. That's why Lop won't get sacked after this, it's why he was hired, and it's why didn't strengthen during the January windows when we could have gone on to win europa or qualify for champions league. It's also why we were relegated under uncle Avram. All the faces have changed except his.
Yep, he'll probably appoint Southgate or Benitez next or bring back Moyes.
* Shudders *

Cholo you are of course correct but Sullivan will do nothing and point to 29 chances created, nothing went our way etc.
We are in a relegation battle. We cannot play this way with the players we have. We have not looked good in the league consistently since 2022 when MoyesBall was rumbled by teams.
We still have too many players suited to Moyesball and low block. No pace or strength in midfield and thru the middle.
A long painful remainder of the season because Sullivan wont act until we are in the bottom 3. We are 3 points away again now. Wolves have the very quick and lethal finished Cuhna. We have every chance of losing that too. Still Sullivan wont move. He will tout his virtuous signalling line about us "giving managers or coaches time" and honoring contracts if we can. He's a silly little fool.

As I was saying the German can be useful if he stays fit.
Kilman and Dinos are the worst CB pairing in the PL, two absolute fucking carthorses.

I'd put Soucek in central defence

I thought we played some decent football tonight, but it's pretty much irrelevant if you can't fucking defend. It's like having the chuckle brothers at CB

Get someone in who can speak English next time.
If he is still here for the Wolves game I can see a Burnley moment coming
Might as well stick Graham Potter on the coach on the way home then.. . As he's watching!!
Its depressing, I mean we have played well our passing and possession is good but we just don't look like scoring even with 30 shots and every time they attack we look terribly nervous... I hate to say it but he is on borrowed time even Sullivan must see that... maybe one more chance v Wolves?
Ffs 3-1 why didnt he bring Fulkrug on earlier ....

Our missed chances are only half the story, the fact is we are so fucking easy to score against, so open at the back even shit teams can pry us open with ease. We are worse than under Moyes last season and that's saying something, need a new manager and quick.

Went as I feared, Early goal was the start of the issues, They could then sit back, rode their luck as we have when Moyes used to sit us deep and hit us on the counter. And against our very slow midfield and defence its the best tactic. But for VAR it would be another 4-0.
You cannot play this way with an old slow squad, We have to still play counter attack, low block until 3 or 4 athletes are recruited.
But I will bank money on Sullivan doing nothing before Xmas.

Business is business at the end of the day. I’m sure he’s a nice guy and all that
but this can’t happen
it’s not even the result that does my head in.
it’s the fact that he had a fairly fluid team that seemed to know what it was doing somewhat and his arrogance (or stupidity?) just fucked it.
and all this “we had 29 shots” stuff
that makes it WORSE!!!
It just shows how shit the team we are playing are and we still couldn’t do it.

Shambles. You can't defend him, it's not just tonight. Shambolic scatter gun transfer approach in the summer with over 100 million spent on mostly average players. If I could pick a new squad and was asked who I would want to keep it would be just Bowen, Kudus at his best, AWB and I think there is a player there in Summerville. The rest I'd happily replace.

Paqueta lost us possession on that third goal.
are you surprised he does it over and over again.
He’s a liability, Moyes was right to shift him on to the left
