Had enough of this arogrant no mark now.
11 games, 27% win ratio and 0.66 goals per game.
Either the break clause is true or this flake quits otherwise were proper fucked.

I see Chelsea qualified for the Champions League again, proving how much of a fuck up Potter was before and after he was at Chelsea -
3rd, 12th*, 6th, 4th.
Who gives a fuck? He is our manager and we will be just fine.

Just like all o his down beat pronouncements…
Doom & Gloom next. Season…relegation scrap…???
When he was at Chelsea and they were doing shit he basically said nothing. Is he on beta blockers?
the most impressive thing about him is how little he seems to panic or actually solve problems even when he’s drowning. Probably not the guy you want near any emergency whatsoever.
I’m really really hoping that he as explained to the board why his methods have brought no fruit in 6 months and he knows exactly what needs to change in the summer to bring success. From where I’m sitting I can’t see anything but disaster next season. But maybe I’ve missed some detail that only he and the board understand.
fingers crossed.
The signs have not been good. but we have to hope we hit a positive reset next season, if for no other reason than because we have no choice. Positives are, we can see how he wants to play by pressing teams more, he just does not have the personnel and pace, especially in midfield to make it work. Any manager is going to struggle with the slowest and oldest squad in the PL He also took a while to get Brighton playing the way they did under him. Any manager deserves time and a chance to bring the players in he thinks will improve us. Like Man Utd though, we have burned countless millions on under par players and not fixed crucial gaps in the squad, and like them we are Skint so don't hold your breath. Reading that we may be looking to bring Antonio back in is just the type of stuff I'd expect from Sullivan and co.
I AM very concerned that despite the managerial changes we have gone so far backwards, and his team selections and use of subs has been mystifying at times. I can only think he has wrote the remainder of season off as a competitive concern and is just trying to find out if he has a core of this squad he can work with next season and who we need bring in.

Moyes pulled the board's pants down, Loppi-Jaloppy pulled the boards pants down and Pitter-Patter-Potter pulled the boards pants down.
They must know the way to Sketchley's by now without needing their white sticks or seeing-eye dogs.
You like having your pants down in Thailand don't you ?
If you thinking along those lines helps you get a semi, who am I to deny a fellow Hammer one of the few pleasures (like mates) he has in life?

That's a team chosen by a man who's already checked out. Club announcement imminent I reckon.

The board continuously pull their own pants down. No help needed from anyone else.

The Team won't see that money, so what's the point? It'll go straight to the likes of Sullivan. So fuck cheering for them unlikely gaining £1.7M a place right now. It's a mere drop in the ocean that will only benefit them, not the Team. The last few weeks have been an ideal time to experiment for Footballing reasons. And it's not like by playing our best week in and week out has made a blind bit of difference with us still hovering just above the relegation zone. But of course, that doesn't appeal to the management, only the bottom line...

I understand your frustration, MA, and like you, I wish that we had decent owners. But we don't. That aside, they are running a business and it would be foolish to piss 3 million up against the wall in order to play an experimental team.

It's not quite meaningless. There's 3.5 million place money at stake, which we could do with by all accounts.

Potter confirms he won't be trying out any other players (presume new Academy players) or try something different. Instead he would rather concentrate on trying to win a meaningless match and being consistent with what they've already done i.e. 1 win in the last 10 matches...

I can see Zirkzee as a spearhead of a team challenging for promotion from the Championship. In which case Man U need to hang to him for the season after next.

All conjecture, but I reckon if you put Zirkzee in the arsenal side he will score goals. He was very good at Bologna. Not so convinced about Hojland.
they’re good players but both excellent. Surrounded by better players they’d probably look better.
Bruno aside, Man U are just a middle of the road PL team.
I agree both would do 'better' at least. But then I think you could say that almost any player would do better at Arsenal (or Liverpool/Man City) for that matter. Very stable club and far better culture. Feel like there's a huge culture problem in the squad at Man U which I suspect is the biggest thing Amorim is trying to deal with. And of course if reports are to be believed, Potter also here.

Looks like Sullivan was right about Amorim tbf.
Or the truth - Amorim was right about Sullivan as he was the one that backed-off.
Still, it's not as if Sullivan would have been willing to offer him a job as there was compensation due.

It’s not the players, it’s the manager. Take those players and put them in Fulham, Bournemouth, Brentford etc and they all perform well. Antony went to Betis and is doing really well.
rashford went to Villa and ends up taking Watkins’ place half the time.
what clubs are guilty of is being seduced by “all mouth” managers that talk a good game to upper management but are actually not very good at their jobs. Specifically in the PL because so many of the owners are not real football people and can’t see through the bullshit.
we have owners like Sullivan, Bohely at Chelsea etc , just money people who think they know their shit. Whereas the boards and owners in clubs accross Europe seem to be football people. Actual fans themselves.
where the owners are not football fans is where all the problems lie.

I dont think Zirkzee, Hojland, Dorgu, Yoro, Mazraoui are bad players. But they are players that should be going to teams in the middle 3rd of the PL. They are not top players and MU are no longer a top club.
They've built a decent mid table side who are struggling with injuries and confidence.
The expectations off the pitch are of a CL side, but they just aren't. On the pitch they try to play like a CL side but don't have the players and end up paying the price.
Ironically, now is the time they could do with Moyes as their manager.
TBH I do think Zirkzee and Hojland are pretty bad. Way below the standard needed. One of Ten Hag's worst qualities was his dreadful talent spotting and massively overpaying for it at the same time. He did far more damage off the pitch than on it TBH. Almost everyone he bought was a bad buy in one way or another which is just a death knell. Talent spotting is so key. Man City and Liverpool have been so good because they've hit on the vast majority of players they've signed in the last decade. Particularly big money signings. Klopp absolutely nailed it retooling his midfield and replacing Mane and Firmino.
Us and Man U have albeit for differing reasons, recruited so so poorly for the last couple of seasons.
Not that it concerns me unduly, but Ten Hag worked with Onana and Antony before sanctioning their purchases at a combined £140m, and he didn't fancy Kudus
It's staggering isn't it. Add to the other Dutch or Eredivisie players he seemed to almost exclusively go after shows huge question marks over judgement.
And over 100 million for Hoijland and Zirkzee. Jesus wept. Clubs and agents must have loved a phone call from Ten Hag even more than one from Sullivan.
