I stand corrected but I thought Guilherme started a few cup games too but was largely anonymous?

What is it with Fullkrug especially though? I read his fitness and history of injuries has led to us managing minutes?  Would be good to see him start some games but he aint a 90 min man I suspect? Possibly not even a 70 min man?

Im guessing Potter follows that age old coaching ploy of using certain players after 60 mins when its believed a team starts to tire and hence those who cannot play a full 90 should have a greater impact.

Guilherme, Fullkrug have been anonymous when starting games and subbed.  Maybe its the fact they are better against tiring teams. Forest now freshened up their team for that reason perhaps
Guilherme has only started one single game and only given 45 mins in that, so a bit ridiculous to suggest he's better as a sub. Probably even more so with Fullkrug. He's started 5 games in the league and the only one of those games we lost was against Man City (in which he scored). I don't see how anyone can actually believe that we wouldn't be better off if he started every game. A player like that, even if not scoring as much as he should, will still know how to make runs, create space for his team mates, etc.

Brighton fans warned us the first 2 seasons under Potter would be a slow improvement process and one on West Ham chat said that he didnt think fans of a club the size if West Ham woukd have fans with the patience.  He said by season 3 it was starting ti look really good at Brighton when Chelsea nabbed him.

I suspect Potter will go by Xmas but he aint going before so we just got to hope he gets a good transfer window and players he wants with the profile to make his controlled possession system work. We see patches of good play but its too slow, the intensity missing with the players he has in our squad in several positions and esp. midfield.

Anyway, lets hope he proves most of us wrong and gets some marked inprovement next season with results.

The football is disjointed and so so slow. No pace or invention.  I'll be pleased when this is over. Honestly cant say that there are any good signs under these manager. Still give up soft goals and even more shot shy. Coufal played his heart out today. I would have loved to have seen him score. Fab going and that clown replacing him gives up the gift of all gifts.
Defense needs someone as good as Wan Bissaka on the left and at least one centre back. Todibo Is classy. Expect he will go to another side. Kilman is at best a sub. On the contract dished out we will be stuck with him.
Pacqueta brought some urgency. Fullkrug can impact given service which we are lame at. Bowen looks like the world is on his shoulders.

I hope we see a serious revamp of the side. Unlike others I'm not screaming for youth team players. I dont see any of them being more than subs at best. We arent strong or athletic enough.
The ref today was well out of his depth. Poor performance and nearly lost the game.

5 mins time wasting missed as always. Their goalkeeper made 2 or 3 good saves. We had the better and more chances overall and gave them a gift goal. Forest get into Europe so I suspect they will find it a lot harder next season in the league.

We simply have a squad “not fit for purpose”. I aint ecstatic about Potter but its not all bad. We will obviously know  by Oct assuming he gets 3 or 4 of the targets he “wants”. But I see some encouraging signs in how we are trying to play. Its just the profile and calibre of some players not at the right level to execute it well. We are a “half baked” team and squad.

Personally I wont be sorry to see Kudus and Paqueta gonetbh.  Alvarez is too slow so another we should sell imo. Soler too lightweight, slow for the Prem Lge.  Out of possession, Kudus, Paqueta, Soler dont or cannot give anything like enough when not on the ball.

Got to pray we get some real “team players” in next season. Young, pacy, strong and play for the team, work and press relentlessly esp that central midfield.  Soucek is a barometre for me. Goid to keep as impact sub or certain times in games when we want to switch to more direct but if he is startimg most games again next season, our transfer window has failed and we are probably in big trouble.

1 more week of torture

Six yellow cards we got. They got three. We should have had at least two free kicks in dangerous positions, plus an obvious corner. I know I’m whining, but fucking hell. And Jamie Carragher can go fuck himself.

Good to see that s the player Moyes rejected (Milenkovic) puts in a monster of a performance with plenty still in the tank....we rejoice at the ability to finally get the guy chosen in front of him (Zouma) off the wage bill, for the broken knee that was identified in the medical and ignored in the manager's insistence.

Nice one Davie. Nice one.

disgraceful ending but fair result. Hard to see us not in a battle against the drop when we don't really show up for 85 minutes of games.

This ref is woefully inadequate - lost control as soon as he let Forest get away with ridiculous time wasting.

One of the most unsporting teams I’ve seen in a while. Hope they fuck up next season. Snide cunts.

Of the additional 11 minutes I reckon they’ve wasted about 6 of them delaying restarts or feigning injury.

Commentators saying, "they are only doing what any team would do in their position". Perhaps. But it's shit. Where did fair play go? This dark arts getting accepted is to the detriment of the game and deeply insulting to the paying fans.
