Off to Wimbledon today....had a look at the players/draw and hadly know a single player. No more the halcyon days of Murray, Federer, Nadal and then latterly Djokovic.

Or the good old days of Agassi, Sampras, Courier etc.

Anyway, anyone we should be looking out for?

Cilic in 4
Outplayed Draper … might be 36 & has had injury problems but is a US Open winner & finalist at Wimbledon & Melbourne
Not the second round opponent you want

Draper just starting against Cilic on Court 1

Given he is 4th seed you’d hope Draper isn’t just making up the numbers
As 4th seed he is on the same side of the draw as Sinner so if they progress he’d play him in the semi final with Alcaraz avoided til the final … if he makes it of course
Agree with the commentators last night who said there are 4 possible winners … Sinner Alcaraz Draper & Djokovic

Tarvert v Alcaraz is the second Centre court match today
Norrie v Tiafoe first on Court 1 followed by Katie Boulter

Hoping Paolini can go one better this year and win the thing.

It's all about young London boy Jack Draper for me during this Tournament having watched him perform well in the most recent US Open reaching the Semi's. 6ft 4 with a varied game for a big lad and I don't think he's just making up the numbers. With a bit of luck and finding his best form, he could go far I reckon. 🤞🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Djokovic absolutely dominant 6-1 in the first & 6 set points in the second and manages to butcher it
1 set all & looking shaky in the 3rd
Andrew Castle & Tim Henman commentating 😴 💤

Plus she's almost 70 now, and not a lot of women age well past 55/60 unless they start filling their faces full of chemicals.
Chris Everet has not done bad, tbf.

I would say filling their faces with chemicals is the problem, not the solution. Look at the before and after shots of Bezos' new wife.
It can definitely go both ways, to be fair! There are definitely some more and some less subtle cases. A slight smoothing or a tuck there vs a half the plastic in the ocean. TBH I applaud a woman with the gumption not to have a load of shit injected into her face and grow old gracefully.

Fair enough. I wasn't aware of that, so probably a low blow with hindsight.
Wasn't having a pop Wils, was just pointing it out.  Must have been awful to have throat cancer and then whislt they were doing the scans they found breast cancer, brutal.  Thankfully she is so far cancer free as is Chris Evert after having ovarian cancer.  She was always my favourite was Ms Evert, along with Gabriella Sabatini.
Wasn't taken as a pop. Just felt a bit bad mocking her looks now knowing why she looks like the way she does. Wouldn't wish that on that anyone.

Everet is looking quite good considering she has been through similar.

Betty Stove was lucky she got her career in before the crackdown on trans players

Sinner breezes through in straight sets in less than 2 hours, 6-0 in the third
Straight sets win for Mr Katie Boulter also
World no. 733 O Tarvet has Alcaraz up next. Tomorrow I guess
