Millwall fan (he has a tattoo of the club crest on his chest) who can’t spell Greg
Over 50 more women came forward to complain about a man who liked to grope & take his trousers off in front of staff while not wearing pants
One woman who complained was told you are over 16 and have hardly been Jimmy Savilled
Same old bbc story. Don’t rein in the ‘talent’ while they are successful

Interesting.

Nothing particularly tangible about him to dislike but the combination of him and Armstrong were the smuggest gits ever when they appeared together, and irritated me massively. I should know, I'm amongst the smuggest!
Yes me too

Like we all are on this thread? He's not offering his opinion on it. And it's in the context of a podcast about the media he does and it's the biggest story this week. Can't see it's something to be irate about.

It's not his place to give out such details. He's talking like he's Chief Exec of the BBC going in to details that haven't been mentioned publicly before and so soon after Torode heard it second hand. Yet this prat gobs off about it on some podcast for clout.
He's clearly reading from a statement. Don't think he's revealed anything that wasn't in the public domain. Again it's really not something to get upset about as far as I can see.

The rumour I've heard is, he was signing along to Gold Digger by Kanye, and then had a discussion with a black person who he knew about why they're allowed to say that word, but white people aren't.

He then apologised immediately for saying the word in a sentence.

Then someone in the background who overheard complained, and 8 years later the BBC fire him for it.

I've no idea if that's true or not.  But this is the BBC we're talking about, which is why I can believe it.

Osman said: "He used I think probably the worst racial slur there is and they found that to be substantively true. They found evidence they were happy with. He said that he couldn't remember it. But that one was upheld."

If he didn't hear it, he has no fucking right to comment on it.

Timothy Evans conviction for murder was "upheld" and we all know what happened there don't we?

Ex-Pointless presenter Osman described the language used as the “worst racial slur there is”.

Of course the four eyed prick knows he said it.

If he said whatever the racist slur was, then it's out of order but the BBC doesn't have an unblemished record in hiring these people.

To be fair Richard Osman didn't say he knows Torode said it. He said the BBC and Banijay believe they have enough evidence to be sure he said it.

At the risk of seeing a list of things that would get the site into grief, I can't help but wonder what 'the worst racial slur there is' might be. Is there a league table?
I was also thinking this.

I wouldn't say it was the word Torode said.  It's used far too frequently, if not more, as a term of endearment amongst themselves.

Are the Beeb for fucking real??

It's because he sang the lyrics to Kanye Wests song Gold Digger! 🤣

https://www.thesun.co.uk/tv/35898736/jo ... bc-racism/

That's ridiculous in that case. I mean, sure fire him for having terrible taste in song choice but it was the lyrics of a popular song ffs.

If the were really on the ball, the BBC should ban all (ALL) UK courses and culinary items for the next season: every entry must be a meal/dish from an immigrant/ethnic minority community.

Masterchef was a show where Sharon from Coventry rocked up, that's the only information we had on her, she cooked a jazzed up version of the pie that her Nan used to make, up against Trevor from Bucks, who knocked up an Italian dish, the winner was chosen and went through, the loser smiled and waved goodbye as the end credits rolled in.

We now have Tabitha from Surrey, who shares her story of her late Uncle the Marquess of Winchester who died whilst being served a pheasant heart on a bed of gold coloured chard washed in the tears of an endangered bear, which she is going to recreate, the memory of which has given her severe mental health problems, all of which is told along with a piano ballad from Coldplay echoing in the background.

She goes out in the first round, cries, and Gregg Wallace gets his cock out.

Unfair advantage in favour for all the young youths in the competition as they'd all fly through to the knock-out stages.

I was thinking about this AI BBC presenter they could create.

They'd be all over that.  They'd be able to tick every singe box available.

Make it look lesbian?  done
Wrong shade of skin?  amended
Not enough disabilities?  make it more like joyo
