Yeah, but fuck people that abuse. They're nothing. They just ruin this forum.
I was just interested in why you state you wouldn't back a walk out? I understand your comment about supporting the team not Sullivan. But, with respect, by purchasing your season ticket, going to the games and just doing what you have always done, you are supporting Sullivan. That is exactly what he wants fans to do. Buy your seat, go to the games and keep your gob shut. You are supporting the regime.
And, as they say, you can't make an omelette without breaking eggs.
If a mass walk out was by the grace of god organised and it was done properly and after 10 minutes 3/4's of the support got up and walked out - Would you really sit and stay?

How about players in our club that actually support other teams? Should their input to the team be downgraded or ignored? Should they be cancelled? It's his job, stop pretending to be a spastic to get into an argument. Again.Money coming into the club is money coming into the club.
If you offer a tenner to a homeless man sat outside Romford station, he won't turn it down because he supports spurs and you support West Ham.

Re: Time for massive protests against David Sullivan!
He definitely aint a supporter, none of them are apart from the Golds who have had a genuine history with the Club. Although wven that got ruined by David Gold in the end with how he mismanaged the whole move and lies forgetting his roots as a West Ham fan.
Basically, cunts the lot of them.

The pandemic proved that fans inside ground become nothing more than a backdrop as the club gets the majority of its income from other revenues, mainly TV rights so barstoolers and Hank from West Virginia can watch us, and I reiterate my point about tourists replacing us making up for lost revenue.
The only way it’ll ever hurt him is if we go down, because the club would be desperate for us to attend games because tickets at the gate and merchandise from the shop become the clubs largest income streams. That support through thick & thin is amazing but is not going to fix the situation.
50k ST holders? no way are they replacing them all with day trippers.
You’re right, they wouldn’t, but it’s unrealistic to think 50k are going to give up their ST. So we need an alternative plan.
We need a forum (not just here) to telegraph these issues and get other West Ham fans onside. We have a large but apathetic fanbase because I believe we all set the bar so low on what we expect from the club that has been led by a series of people who lie through their back teeth, the latest and chief amongst them being David Sullivan.

Re: Time for massive protests against David Sullivan!
If you step away from it, the business model is fairly sound and Sullivan and Brady has never has given a shit about the history of the club including the older fan base.
Push fans away, attract more tourists, hike ticket prices and sell more merchandise on the day given most buy souvenirs.
then take whatever income you get based on a league position above the relegation zone.
like others have said, nothing will happen unless we are bottom 3 after enough games .

Re: Time for massive protests against David Sullivan!
The club are desperate for me not to miss out on the Chelsea game.
I've had numerous texts and emails over the past three weeks informing me that I should book my seat now as I don't want to miss out.
I also had an email from a very nice fella called Henry Schoppmann the business development manager who offered to be a personal point of contact should I need any support with my bookings.amd asking if there were any particular home games I was interesting in attending.
ViIP hospitality packages at knockdown prices (£39) for the Lille game were also on offer in his email and he promised to send over further offers throughout the season.
I will probably attend the Chelsea game and the majority of home games but the ownership and fixture changes for TV certainly piss me off as many others I know.
This business development guy will probably be actively seeking out more of the tourist market so the atmosphere will become even more sterile.
He should be looking more at the disenfranchised and hacked off fans who have stopped going but that's probably not the people they want over there any more.
Yanks and Japanese buying hospitality packages and crap kits more the market these days.
The only problem is they won't be coming back again after viewing the product on the pitch and the shit view.
