Diouf one of the brighter players. Potts decent. Areola the biggest issue and JWP the next one. We should be a couple of goals down if we are honest.
As per previous posts and what we already know we are a goalkeeper and at least one ( maybe 2 ) strong pacy central midfielders away from being a half decent outfit. As it stands we look still to be where we ended, at the lower end of the table. Imho

If you ever need proof that Ward-Prowse is a major problem that half shows it
absolutely anonymous performance, like playing with 10 men
considering Potter seems insistent on us playing out from the back then Ward-Prowse has to be a part of it but he’s too slow to get into space

Keeper and a powerful midfielder, and we're not a bad side here for what Potter wants to do.
Aguerd fits nicely at wide CB, prefer Kilman at the centre, Todibo improving.

There’s been a couple of balls over the top and Areola has stayed glued to his 6 yard box.
good to be ahead but we won’t get away with playing like this very often.

Our formation makes us vilnerable down the flanks. Areola is a massive problem not being able to distribute and we are desperate for a unit with pace who can break from midfield

The commentator made a good point after about 3 minutes - its a preseason kickaround tournament, so why would you show your hand with the first choice team, seasons tactics and formation a week before meaningful games.
So i couldnt give a shit how we play this game now, and after what hapoened with maddison i just want us to get home without injuries. The team look fit, lean and togethrr , im happy with that.
Should be kids playing tonight.

Is a good test this. They're pretty much our kryptonite as one of the best pressing teams in the league.

Is the score still zip zip?
How's the offensive line doing?
