Mavropanos is our best centre back, which I said before the season started would be the case. Not because he's good, because the other 3 are even more diabolical than him.
Wolves had their reserve team out for most of the game, so we managed to keep them out other than the penalty. Kilman coming on was irrelevant, it was Wolves bringing on some of their first team starters, including that striker. Once they were on, him in particular, it was game over. Add to that us leaving on Soucek & Mouse.
It's actually funny that someone thinks keeping Aguerd on instead of Kilman would have made a difference. How thick have you got to be to think that.
Which I said before....

What are you even doing on a West Ham forum? You've never been to a West Ham game in your life, you've got fuck all connection to the club, yet you're on here trying to dish it out? Calm down you wally.

The point of having genuine strikers on is not just to score goals but to push back defenders. One mistake I see Potter makes and Moyes did all the time is put on another defender or CD to try and deal with pressure when holding on to a lead. When a better way would be to throw on the extra striker and make them paranoid about pushing up.
If he’d have taken a CB off for Fullkrug/Wilson and then went to back 4 we would have won easily. But he is desperate to prove his back 3 works for all things. Sad.
I actually would have preferred that he put on Marshall and just said run your cock off for 20 minutes. Dont let up, harry and press, keep the centre halves occupied and give us an out ball. Hes not lightning fast but hes a damn site faster than Fullkrug and Wilson. But yeah, anything would've been good

Anyone having a pop at Bowen is a fucking wanker
He is the club captain and is not immune to fans reaction after a collective capitulation like this.

Potter has now had two transfer windows. And we are considerably worse for it.
People can argue the toss about whether he’s had board backing etc. But it’s all irrelevant. We have a shit chairman, of course. But we have a diabolical manager. And he can take that smug, ineffective 13-year-old sidekick Jimmy Krankie cսnt-with-a-laptop with him, too.
Who the fuck knows what goes on behind the scenes during the transfer windows? Well we can all guess.......One thing for sure, Potter has not been backed by the club and we cant blame him for that, I mean does anyone for one iota think Callum Wilson was top of his wish list?. Thanks to Sullivan and Co He does not have the players to play the way he wants us to play, but where he fucks up is when he wont at least try and play to the strengths of what he has available. I CAN and DO blame him for making the same mistakes game in and game out and for example not at least trying to bring players like Potts in that otherwise ponderous midfield or play Areola when its plain to see the newbie is having a mare. It cant get any worse, it really cant.

we cannot deal with having this useless fucker in charge of our club. it doesn't matter what players are given to him, his football philosophy is prehistoric shit

Potter needed to make changes after we scored and started sitting too deep. He took off Aguerd and Kilman made us look weaker at the back. Then too laye he brings on Fullkrug who woukd have given us an outball.
We cannot deal with crosses and cannot handle midfields that come on to us. We look so weak in challenges all over the park. And Paqueta aside from his goal was poor second half and so weak. He should be deeper as a no 8 not a no 10. We dont have the players to support him as a 10.
Potter’s in game changes not made. Thats what won them the game in the end. But dont be fooled, our team/squad lacks the leadership, fight, physicality and speed to handle the Premier League.
Can it get much worse? Yes, Forest away will prove that.
A change of manager will come eventually but short term we need at least one commanding CB, 2 more central midfielders, a central striker and perhaps even a GK although Areola was not really at fault for their goals.
We are doomed lads as it stands. Trying to play a system where we still dont have all the types of players we need to make it effective. JWP yes busy, involved in lots of passing moves but always has to turn back or sideways and looks so lightweight and slow for the modern day Premier Lge.
Relegation looks a certainty as things stand. Prepare for the worst and hope for something better. How depressing being a West Ham supporter has it been since a brief highlight night in Prague. It just gets worse and worse.
Just stop with your fucking bloviating will you. You’ve been at it for years and it’s time you gave it a rest.

If Potter has to go 3 cbs he should go with AWB as rcb and put walker peters as wing back.
atleast that will get one of our shit cbs out the side.
The best thing Potter could do is resign.
There is no combination of centre-backs that he can make work. Because he’s just a terrible manager.
The players are truly awful. But the manager is somehow worse.
We are a circus. Without the laughs.

Gale made a salient point during the game where he commented on Perriera going for a Plan B when he proactively decided to chuck 2 imposing Steiker up top and to pump it long at that stage of the game. Then you look at COCK PISS arms folded like his Nan just told him off for nicking a biscuit with 0 plan, even though we too were sitting on 2 experienced Strikers ourselves twiddling their bumhairs on the Bench. When Wolves unsurprisingly bang in 2 late goals he THEN decides to bring them both on with just injury time to work miracles.
It was so predictable he would do that.

You may as well stick Soucek up front, at least he scores.
Often thought this should be tried. He's slow in midfield, stick him upfront and get some goals and put a fast youth player in midfield.
Said this last season when we were struggling. Soucek up front. Forget tippy tappy and go direct leaving Bowen and Kudus running on to flick on's and knock downs. Paqueta deeper with two midfielders with legs next to him. Idea that was never tried and we don't have the midfield with legs anyway. Now we have a crossing machine in Diouf and yet Potter plays Bowen and Paqueta up front and we don't get a Diouf cross for 88 minutes!
At least Allardyce bought players to cross the ball to Andy Carroll. Potter doesn't seem to have any plan whatsoever.

Did Moyes leave his coaching Manuel behind as that was classic Moyes tactics in the second half.

Kilman is shit, but him coming on was irrelevant.
They didn't have anyone to mark until that striker came on for Wolves. Once that happened, it was game over, regardless of what combo of the 4 we had on the pitch.
Haha. Fucking hell
Your keeper done well.

As a little snapshot into how shit we are, wolves sold one player for 62 mill and turned down 50 for another. We can’t even give any of ours away.

I dont know what to say only that if he hasnt figured out how to get the team winning games in 8 months he’s not going to suddenly work it out tomorrow.
I know some of us are tired of changing managers etc.. But sometimes you have to just call it how it is. It’s just not working. Who cares whose fault it is, Sullivan, Potter, the guy in the chip shop.. it doesn’t matter! You can only do 1 of two things, change the manager or change the squad. And you cant afford or have the time to change the squad. So it has to be get rid of the manager.
