It needs to happen, it is the only thing that makes sense.
The club is absolutely fucked, on every conceivable level. We're down, regardless of who comes in now. Nuno has to go immediately, and regardless of who we bring in, no one is up for it, the players, the fans, the club is dead.
The one and only thing that would put some fuel in the clapped out Skoda, is Di Canio. The stadium would be absolutely rocking, the players will have no choice but to fight to the death, or he'd fillet their hearts out, and most of all, it would feel like West Ham again.
There has to be a campaign for it. Nothing else would come close.

Would rather not have a fascist managing my club, thanks.
The rainbow mob who dominant your fanbase these days would have a meltdown.

I'd rather we put Harvey Price and Rosie Jones in the dug out.
Watching them have a spak in the technical area will be a welcome distraction from the football.

Have to say, that would be good entertainment to have Pablo in charge. He would really kick the players up the arse. I would love to see that.

Is this same guy who REFUSED to travel North of the Watford Gap. When he was in a relegation fight. And was out the door. The nanosecond second we dropped.!
Is that you Sean.?

been a supporter all my life, I can't not plus Its easy to watch all the games on TV here. I'd probably still go to at least some games if I was local, moved to the US before we left UP so my forays to the bowl have been very few and far between. Do have to feel bad for those who go and support the team week in week out especially this season when its mostly been a hiding to nothing.

No offence, but you watch what games you can, you don't have to go over that shithole of a stadium, freezing cold, bored to death, watching our slow and painful demise in the flesh. It doesn't really matter to you what the paying punters are going through, week after week.
No I don't have to go over there and nor do you. Consider not parting with your hard earned cash, its one way to raise two fingers at them that they'll understand.

Do you honestly think your suggestion is going to save this club? Do you actually know what's going on?

Love DiCanio but it would be taking this already confused squad of individual manager (and owner) picks in another 180 degrees direction. Wouldn't his flair style just leave a woeful defence even more exposed?
No point in sacking Nuno, we might as well take our time and target a manager who can rebuild and navigate the championship.
Whatever we do I don't trust Sullivan in getting the right man, we're on a downward trajectory until he goes.

That shithole, if it was to work needs a huge ego and charisma to bring it to life. It wouldn't be excellent or world class but it would make it bearable. That's why Joe Cole, rightly, used to bang on about Mourinho being one of those characters who could embrace it. Sadly as always we missed the boat on Mourinho as well thanks to dithering Dave.

That’s place is too moribund. It’s finished. It’s done. We’re beyond help.
If Di Canio comes back, the place would be full to the rafters for that first game, it will be absolutely bouncing in there. If we also manage to win, and win well, maybe then, and only then, would we have a chance of staying up, and getting a part of the club back.

Long term planning? hahaha
Unsurprisingly, you're missing the main point, along with Anders.
The club is dying. The stadium was half full tonight, and even when it's full, it's dead.
The players don't give a fuck, and for the first time, the fans don't give a fuck.
We need Di Canio. Not to keep us up, not to plan long term. We need him for more than that.
Eerie gets it. He would enter his first game in charge abseiling upside-down from one of the floodlights when the music starts pumping out to Prodigy Firestarter as he holds claret and blue flares lit in either hand dressed impeccably in Armani's finest suit and West Ham knitted tie. Fuck the game, that would just be a bonus, I'd run back inside that joint just to see him doing his madness! Place would go off. Probably would win too before holding a mesmerising post match press conference with all the journos eating our the palm of his hands with tremendous copy. Inject that shit in to my claret and blue veins now.

Why do another short term employment? Get someone in that wants the job permanently, would Bilic manage in the championship? I still think Carrick or Bellamy.

Di Canio wouldn’t last three matches with a professional Premier League team (like at Sunderland)
And?
Let's just die a slow death instead. Boredom and apathy for the next 5 months. Brilliant
