It aint man. Modern life is fucking dogshit to how it was back in the 90s. Civilisation peaked big time then. I could rattle off a load of reasons why and would feel part cathartic and part depressing as there's simply no comparison. Definitely one for another thread - The 90s v Modern day wank.
I was just talking about going out.. But yeah I get you.
I agree.
The 80s were shit for all sort of reasons and it all went south quickly when the greed is good decade imploded.
The 90s was my decade when things perked up and music was fantastic with different strands bursting out everywhere. I spent the entire decade going to gigs and clubs and accidentally found my calling as computer programmer which has set me up ever since. Also played in three bands for a fair while each, depped for a few and picked up some paid sessions. I had an absolute blast.
It was a time of genuine hope that things could stay that way but it has all all crumbled.
This one has my favourite all time drop.

Some absolute (ABSOLUTE) bangers on this thread. Live 90's house and trance. Thought it had gone off but thers been a resurgence of wonderful new house music in last 2 years (discovered a radio station funkySX now called DCR that plays loads of it).
Was watching Kevin and perry go large last night and loving the trip down memory lane. We were in cream one od the nights they were filming back in 99
Ill be adding to this later
So many good radio stations out there now, I know some of the DJ's that are on that one.
I'm out partying still and the age group is mainly between 45 and 65.. A lot of original ravers who have done the whole bringing up kids thing and now back out there partying but mainly day raves.. Some of them with their kids.
