Christ that's awful New Jersey. Sending good thoughts to you all. I know how it feels. It was the tenth anniversary of my then partner's daughter on Tuesday. It does get better but is still there waiting. It still hurts and we met and had good hug.cry,

Condolence NJ can’t imagine what you are going though. If you are able to then it’s important to ensure your grandson gets as much professional support as possible to help to process what’s happened - I don’t think you can rely on the NHS for this sadly. My ex mrs lost her dad in similar circumstances and I’ve seen the lasting impact it can have. RIP

We've lost SO MANY now that could I humbly suggest that even if you swim past WHO very occasionally now (as I do) please treat threads like this as a virtual book of condolences, something that Simon's family can read and realise how well regarded he was, as was yogib and everyone else who are not with us any more, going right back to Def's brother and beyond. Even if you don't post or post very infrequently I'm sure a word or two on here might make a bit of difference to a family grieving for a loved one. As we all know, most of the people who posted on WHO and have now passed have been part of the fixtures and fittings of this terrible/brilliant/dysfunctional site.

I was about to write what a terribly sad story it was, that bond a father has with his boy, how exciting it must have been for a six year old to have adventures like that at weekends, something I personally never experienced but wish I had. An awful, awful experience it must have been, something that the boy will carry through his whole life as they must have been best pals. I felt lucky if my old man managed to take us to Southend twice a year, jumping in the car with dad and following West Ham would have been like a dream so as I say, the story really touched me. Then I read it's our own boy New Jersey who's son and grandson it was and the whole thing descends even further if that's possible. NJ, as a recent grandfather myself I cannot begin to express my condolences for the loss of your boy Simon and the trauma you must all be going through. I'm sure I speak for everyone on WHO when I say I hope you and your family find some peace and your boy, who sounds like a brilliant father rests in peace mate x

So sorry to hear that NJ. Wasn't expecting a direct link to a poster on here. It's local to me and wanted to flag so the Who community could pay respects. Hope this post hasn't triggered and will in some way send love and respects. Thinking of your family at this time
