Good shout on the Shadow add on! It’s in the Crew repository so anybody with that add on can find it in there and just enable it.

"Taking an overall look at what you do to get Trakt (the finer points are in the vid):- 1. Go to https://trakt.tv and register a free account 2. Once you're through the registration, go to the TV section and browse to find a series that you like the look of. Click the 'Add to collection' button that you'll see under the series icon. Repeat for as many series as you want. If you don't see an icon for the series you want, use the Search box at the bottom of the page. 3. Install the Trakt addon into Kodi (the vid shows you how) 4. Open the Trakt addon and it will give you a code and an address where to register it. 5 On each Kodi addon that you use, switch on Trakt (the vid shows you how). Most newer addons support Trakt. Now when you go into your addons, go to Trakt TV Collections and you'll see all of the series you added on the Trakt site. **Note, it hasn't downloaded these series to your device, it just gives you links to stream from. Run your episodes from here and it will keep track of where you are up to, irrespective of which addon you watched it in. You can go to the Trakt site and add more series to your collection at any time. You can also use the search within Kodi to find a series. Then long-press 'Select' (or right click) on the first episode and choose 'Add to Collection' and voile - the series will be in your collection the next time you look. You can do all of the above for Movies too, if you want. Obviously these will go into the Trakt Movies collection section."

"Trakt is basically a watchlist that integrates with multiple streaming services and also tracks what you've already watched. It's especially useful if you tend to use different addons/services and not stick with the same one for months/years. If you pretty much only use Kodi and one particular addon then you can just add series and films to favourites in Kodi (not sure if you can do this if you're using a build though). Trakt is also pretty good for just browsing things to watch, based on user reviews or what's popular."

"Trakt is free, and definitely something you should have, particularly if you stream TV series. This vid will show you how to set it up in Kodi, if you can stand the annoying voice:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAgdLeSKT8A"

"Yeah, Nagel has it nailed there re: VPNs. If anyone is looking for a good Kodi addon there is a newish one called Shadow. It's lightning fast at finding links. Partner it up with Real Debrid and Trakt and you've got a belting addon. Install instructions"

"As far as I'm aware if you use Real Debrid to stream then you're basically watching via their servers so your ISP can't know what you're viewing and won't block you or send a warning letter or whatever. Of course if the authorities decided to force Real Debrid to do it then they could actually provide info on all your viewing habits while using the service, if you haven't been using a VPN."
