​​​​​​In the past he's favoured a 3-4-3 formation...hard to see how we can do that currently with only 3 senior CBs, one of whom is injured. He's also played wingers (Solly March as an example) in the wing back roles.

Typically when a 3-4-3 gets announced on a match day the manager is immediately described as being too negative, too cautious etc. I guess it depends on the composition of the 4.

He's given young players chances...hopefully that continues at West Ham.

Potter needs 2 or 3 players as any manager coming in would. As with Lop, I will assess after 10 games ad the first milestone. At the moment his influence is relatively minor. His first 2,or 3 games are for assessing who can take on whats being asked, who can actually execute whats being asked and working out what system is needed to best fit what he has. But its certain now too that he will want some additions. Ben Chilwell is one he is supposedly keen on and some box to box midfielder who I hadnt heard of ( not Dewsbury Hall) and a striker now us urgent. 

Fulham and Palace will be very tough games now without Bowen, Todibo, Fullkrug and Summerville.

It was clear the players aren’t fit enough, that’s down to Loppy
