"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

Lowest even money points total bet I've ever seen on betfair at 36 points. Even money NO with a -16pts start. Denver shouldn't put a point on the board unless the defence scores some.

"Gets more surreal ""The Denver Broncos are expected to start undrafted rookie practice squad wide receiver Kendall Hinton at quarterback Sunday against the New Orleans Saints, but the team wanted their starting QB to be Rob Calabrese, their offensive quality control coach for the past two years, sources told ESPN on Sunday. Denver felt that Calabrese had the strongest command of its offense and he could run the system better than anybody, sources told ESPN. The league denied those requests that were made throughout the day Saturday, saying that the Broncos could not activate a coach to their active roster."""

Scratch that. The broncos didn't ask for their game to move. Might watch it just to see what sort of shitshow it turns into.

It's out of order Jackson and the Ravens get a game moved for them while the Broncos don't.

Bit farcical at this point Broncos have no QBs for their game tonight v the Saints Their guy starting is a practice squad WR who played some QB in college.

"In Covid news: - Broncos backup QB tests positive and they cancel practice. - Lamar Jackson tests positive and the Ravens/Steelers game in doubt after being moved already. If they cancel it, it may mean going to the 8 team playoff, which I think is dumb. Any which way, it looks like the season will probably end up with an asterisk alongside it in the records books."
