"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"Just alot of mouths to feed on that Dallas attack, didnt fancy their draft price when not quite knowing who's going to eat one week to the next"

"Pretty pleased with that. Everyone else was swerving the Cowboys, and I have no scruples about picking up a few of the fuckers ;-)"

"Alot of people seemed to be filling their starters before looking at depth, i always like to wait on QB, defence and kicker and just stack my team with the best players. Drafted Brees earlier than i wanted to but so many QBs had already gone i panicked and had to take someone."

"Relying on a rookie in one spot but reasonably happy in most others, very pleased in a couple."

Very fast. I fucked up by miscounting and picking a 3rd WR before filling QB. Bit annoying as I could have got who I wanted.

"Very happy with my draft, got 4 of the guys id targeted in the first 5 rounds. Newton got poached from me late though as QB insurance but there's still some decent options on the waiver wire if old man brees cant hold up. Going to have alot of selection headaches for week 1"

Very business like compared to other drafts I have done. Quick and no smack talk

"Yup, no worries. If OMM gives me a shout I'll let him in and if not I'll just carry on with drafting what will be the worst team in the league!"

Cheers. Just thought I'd better check ebfore the draft. I haven't watched hardly any of the usual US Sports shows that I normally watch this summer so I am trying to do some last minute revision to try and make the playoffs!

If you can sort it out between you in the next 80 minutes then im not fussed either way but dont want to end up having 11 teams if OMM cant join in time

I'm happy to drop out and let OMM take my spot.

"No standard scoring, cant stand ppr. Should not get more points for a 1 yard catch than for a 10 yard run"

"For those drafting at half 7, one warning i would have it seems to be sorted by some random guys rankings rather than average draft position which is usually a better way of judging when you should be drafting players. Otherwise it has 2 QBs as first round picks which is usually not the best strategy"

"Reminder to all involved the draft for the fantasy league is this sunday at 19:30. Still one space left if anyone fancies a last minute entrant, if not I'll be running 2 teams this year so we dont have to exclude anyone."

"Same, and I don't think he's counting on starting again, but it 's a huge achievement for him just to be on the field after what happened to him. Really horrible injury."

I'd be surprised if Smith gets anywhere near back to his steady eddie best.

"That's really shitty news. Poor Ron. Sounds treatable though so fingers crossed. Although in other news I did read that Alex Smith has been able to return to practice for Washington, which is quite a remarkable story, so good luck to him."

As if things couldnt get any worse for the washington team formerly known as the redskins. Head coach ron riveira has been diagnosed with cancer.
