A discovery Of Witched. Started OK but in the end pretty shit. I gave up on it; I mean doesn't compare with the US series like The Originals which was excellent.

they're not renewing Iron Fist or Luke Cage. i can understand with the first character but Cage had potential to get better

"I'm about 9 episodes into daredevil and I'm enjoying it, agree it is a bit slow in places, all of these Netflix marvel shows have the same issue of having a few episodes too many where the series would be a lot better if they just condensed them slightly. Not sure on the whole Bull's-eye origin story they've created for this series as he never really and one from what I've read about it. Also the FBI agent having the surname ""Poindexter"" is really annoying me, especially as nobody has even made a joke about it."

Just re-watched Extras. Superb.

The Haunting Of Hill House is OK. I'm up to Ep6. It's slow paced and fucking depressing. Not a shock a minute by any means. But interesting and well acted. Been very disappointed with the new Daredevil so far but half way through it's starting to kick off. Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin is a piece of art in itself.

the lawyer Zellner in MAM2 makes Strang & the others in series one look like amateurs :.)

Finished it too - it was really good. Unlike typical horror movies you are able to understand the characters and it was quite lovely in a way.

There are so many lists of the best episodes etc. For me its impossible to choose one, as forget how good the ones off the favourites list are also sublime. "Started on MaM2 last night. A few thoughts: 1) I forgot how much I loathed Brendan Dassey's first trial lawyer, and it brought it all flooding back. Not good for the blood pressure. 2) Listening to Brendan Dassey and his mother happily making plans for his release was very sad in light of subsequent events. 3) Seeing footage again of his police interview/footage made me grind my teeth down to stumps 4) Rather keen on Avery's new lawyer. Makes me chuckle. I would hate to find myself on the wrong side of an argument with her. 5) We were told by the prosecution in MaM1 that 'sweat DNA' from Avery was found on the bonnet latch of Teresa's car, and this was obviously not something which could be explained away or 'planted' by corrupt coppers. It's the one piece of evidence that casts doubt on Avery's claims of innocence. But the defence team in MaM2 says it wasn't sweat, and in any case it's nigh on impossible to get DNA from sweat. Something like that. So what WAS the non-blood source of DNA? Saliva? Seriously?? And why didn't his original defence lawyers pull this aspect of the forensic evidence apart? Trying to keep an open mind on Avery's guilt or innocence. However, the American legal system is not covering itself in glory here, especially with regard to Brendan Dassey."

I've found Making A Murderer 2 a bit disappointing so far. Obviously lacks the drama / unfolding of the first and is a bit slow and reliant upon long interviews (e.g. 'What did you think of such and such...'). Anyway maybe the pace will pick up.

"Maniac had a charm about it which I liked. It was just missing something that would turn it from OK to fantastic. I thought it dragged on in places, as American series are prone to do. Sometimes you can tell a story in 6 episodes rather than 10."
