"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"Lee Trundle 5:31 Mon Jul 13 Re: NFL (since 2016) The Chiefs do a tomahawk chop and war cry at their home games, which would make it difficult if they did change their name to something more PC. Exeter Chiefs do that as well...."

"Lee Trundle 4:52 Mon Jul 13 The Chicago Blackhawks (formerly Black Hawks) were named after an actual person out of respect, same with the emblem. It has received a lot less criticism than those other clubs."

"The Eagles are falling apart. Desean Jackson, a man who got paid £8 million last year for doing nothing, has quoted Hitler on the Jews*. Malik Jackson is supporting Desean citing well known anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan, Marquis Godwin and Alshon Jeffrey have chimed in saying he shouldn't have to apologise, and presumably anyone not in line with the latest thinking from the Nation of Islam, is keeping their head down. They won the Superbowl off the back of an incredible locker room and they are a mess. The problem is recruitment too. Only one of those was on the roster for the Superbowl win and he should have been got rid of last year. *He thought it was Hitler but it turned out that the quote was mis-attributed."

"I'd love to get involved with a fantasy league this year. I've never done it before and would most likely lose interest if I am crap, and wouldn't want to let those down who put effort in. I'm happy to make up the numbers if needed, but I'm just putting that warning out there!"

Id like to but I don't think I'll be able to sit through all the politicis in the NFL this year so I might give it a pass. Shame as I enjoyed that last year.

"The other thing is his earning capacity outside if the Chiefs contract if he continues to be successful. From that point of view, the Brady model is sound economics."

"I agree, mahomes comes across as a decent bloke and would prefer a strong team around him rather than crippling the budget with crazy demands. it's rare that an agent isn't controlling him, but good to see"
