General Election - July 2024

This appears to be the rumour on Sky. An easy win for Starmer and some big names losing their seats. The Country needs a change but is it going to get one? The thought of seeing that annoying Beth Rigby for 6 weeks though is a horrifying thought.

"The same Mail that told us in 2016 that we would have zero immigration, cheap food and fuel bills, the same Mail that told us how 'brilliant' Boris would be as a PM, how Truss was to be 'trusted' and that Rishi 'would do a great job' . No wonder the country is fucked, cunts who read that shit and believe it get everything they deserve."

"Mail are going all out this morning to stop you voting labour. I wonder how many ppl will think this morning ‘actually things aren’t THAT bad, do I want to risk change’. I still don’t think the margin of victory will be as wide as predicted."

Pretty much every politician I've heard in the last few weeks would eat their grandmother's cսnt out for a bit of power and prestige. The massive fistery of them all is laid bare day in day out. Massive fuckers the lot of them.

"Labour can't afford to do anything. If the go after big businesses for tax, big businesses will simply go; if they go after the mega-rich & landed, the mega rich will also just go and probably close up their UK estates putting hundreds of labour voters out of work. Gonna need some pretty careful wishing to get through the next 6 months. Whoever the next PM is, he will need to emphasise that businesses (and I particularly include the NHS here) exist for the benefit of their (paying) customers, not for the benefit of their employees, otherwise all hell will break loose on the wages/strikes front.."

"twoleftfeet 7:37 Wed Jul 3 My absurd brain brightened slightly at your post, I like the term Starmergegeon visons of him driving home early on Friday in a silent Tesla monster truck to spend time with his family. As for Shitfest comments I 100% agree mate, I am just keeping my head down pumping into my pension and hoping to get of the merry go round and lead a quiet, inexpensive life."

1 year of Stramergeddon before he is booted out and replaced by Rayner who will be having her strings pulled by the left of the party and the unions. Going to be a fucking shitfest for 5 years but no worse than the current shitfest. I hope.

Democracy worked when people wore togas and the average person had a life expectancy of 12. Now we have politics and the system. A system that gives us the illusion of choice and change that we want and can influence. Get into debt? They'll fuck you. Try to save? They'll fuck you. Live a long time but want to leave a legacy for your loved ones? They'll fuck you. All because they will keep coming back to the well of the average man and take until it's dry whilst walking past the vast oasis' of Corporations and the mega rich. They all do it. Fuck them all.
