"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

Looks like the Chiefs and Mahomes are going down the Patriots route.? Don't think Brady was ever the league highest payed QB.Means the wealth can be spread around. And hopefully keep a couple other elite players already on the roster. Wise move all round. Good luck to them.

"That's exactly my thoughts Crystal. Huge amount of money but in a few years he will be overtaken by half rhe league's QBs. On the upside, he has a long term contract and I think the only way out for rhe Chiefs is injury and he still gets a $150 million guarantee then. If he does lose form, he wkll be quids in. If not and he stays fit for 10 years, he loses out."

"Sounds like 450M over 10 years. Seems like a strange one for mahomes, 45m per year will be average money for a QB in 3-5 years the way its going, not sure why you'd agree to be tied down for so long."

Lee Trundle 11:02 Mon Jul 6 Blimey! Good on them but hope the can keep a decent O-line around him. Short term they could do with getting Chris Jones signed up too.

"Mahomes signs a 10 year deal with the Chiefs. Haven't seen the financials of it, bit of expect it's a mental amount of money. And he's probably worth every cent of it."

"Absolute joke, with FedEx pulling the strings. If they pull their sponsorship the skins will struggle to get anyone else sponsoring them which is bollocks as well. World is fucked. Need to stick all these woke cunts on an island where they can just wank each other off and leave us normal people alone."

"Me. I'm totally against it. That's why I said what I said about the native Americans view of it. If they change their name, it will be a surrender monkey move. I wasn't taking the piss when i said that. Anyone bowing to the mob is spineless."

The other thing is that Washington is in the process of being cancelled so a whole new name is needed.

"In a survey last year by the Washington Post, itself a pretty left-leaning outlet, 90% of Native Americans didnt want it changed and were asked to name a reason why. The most common reason given was that they were proud of it. 100% of metropolitan liberals disagree though so ot is definitely getting changed."
