"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"Wonderlic scores are interesting, and 13 is pretty low there is correlation, but to argue you definitely can't be a good quarterback because of it, see below: Dan Marino 16 Terry Bradshaw 15 Randall Cunningham 15 Jim Kelly 15 Donovan McNabb 15 So it's not a death knell for him, but combined with the injuries, you'd have to say it's a risky pick that high."

"Not sure about the wonderlic test (or indeed any of the intelligence test). All they do is measure how good you are at doing the test not anything practical. I was always good at them but I can be spectatculary dense when it come to stuff I don't get. Lamar Jackson got 13 too and he turned out well. I seem to remember that Ryan Fitzpatrick got a brilliant score, he has had a good career but never threatened the bother the MVP."

"Apparently scored 13 on the wonderlic score, for those that don't know that's fucking bad. So, it's not just his hip injury that has cast doubt on his NFL career. IOC I love the draft and I'm looking forward to it. Niners pick at 13 and 31. The ideal draft would be Ruggs III at 13. Wide receiver (burner with good hands) then trade back into the 2nd for an extra pick and pick the Center Cesar Ruiz out of Michigan. Then go after corner back and D-line. I expect to see a lot of trades this year."

"You go back 12 months and word in Miami was. ""Tanking for Tua.""ù Now by a simple twist of fate.(Or hip. In Tua's case.) He could be landing in South Florida. But the Fin's still might have to trade up to guaranteed to get him.? As a Giants fan. Word in the ether is going OT with pick no4. Which is a no brainier. Interesting to see what the Patriots do at no12. Go G Men."

"Where to start with th Dolphins... QB (Tua?), Offensive tackles and a Running Back - De'Andre Swift looks handy."

"So the draft is next weekend. The first sporting ""event"" I have cared in over a month. Who do you want your team to draft? Saints go for either Jordan Love to fight Taysom Hill as Brees' replacement. Or Patrick Queen at linebacker after losing A.J. Klein I have read that WR is deep, so go for one in later rounds and let Emmanuel Sanders earn his money while the pick develops and they decide if Tre'Quan Smith will ever do anything."

"Having let Tom Brady go and a bunch of others do you think Bellichick is considering the 2021 draft? They have lost a lot of talent, still have a very threadbare bunch of receivers, no stud Tight End. Brian Hoyer and/or Jarrett ""whosethat?"" Stidham aren't going to smash the division let alone the big one. TankForTrevor?"

Saints seem to have done well (if gone older) in free agency so far. Players buying in and restructuring deals as well. And some typical voodoo accounting on the salary cap. One more try.

"Emanuel Sanders has signed a 2 year deal with the Saints. That hurts, not only did we lose a good player but the Saints just got a lot better."

"crystal falace 3:54 Fri Mar 20 I've paid for this for a few years. It is generally excellent unless your team is on Sky. They went down during this year's Super Bowl though which was a shocker. The extra content, particularly Hard Knocks and the other NFL films stuff is superb."

"crystal falace 3:54 Fri Mar 20 The NFL are very good at marketing and it is all part of their plan to grow the sport outside the USA. The BBC shows are a good example. Commissioned by the NFL, made by Whisper films (who do a lot of this sort of sport promotion stuff) and given to the BBC for free as they have the greatest FTA reach."

"Just seen the NFL are making Gamepass free for those outside the US until the end of July, all sorts of back catalogues of games, hard knocks, all or nothing, Nfl films productions on there, should keep people busy for a while."
