"Mallard, that sounds good as I was starting to feel it was a bit slow but moving enough to keep the interest going. He's just been told he's gone into remission so I did wonder if it would start to pick up. I loved the exploding head. I watched Banshee a while ago and got to the 4th season and decided it had gotten a bit samey and farfetched as in too much happening in a small backwater town without the 'Fed's' getting involved earlier"

"Watched a few episodes of Banshee, quite enjoyed them but wasn't hooked. Mind you, I didn't take to Breaking Bad either. I've now watched the first 6 episodes of season 3 of Gomorrah and all I can say is F O M B. Absolutely brilliant TV, as good if not better than the other seasons. The only slight negative are the subtitles, which have come out a lot quicker than normal and there seem to be various versions done by different firms, which is unusual to say the least. They're not the best ever so you might want to wait until something more official appears."

that fly episode was because they had overspent the budget and needed a cheap episode.

Mart O You obviously have never seen Banshee. Definately the most violent fight scenes I've seen and some of the hottest women i've seen. Box set 4 seasons an absolute must.

horrible 5:36 Thu Dec 7 It gets better mate. In my opinion. The fact that you have already watched most of two seasons without it getting crap tells you something. Lots of things happen that will surprise you.

"Here's a question for you lot.... I'm pretty sure most of you on this thread have watched most if not all episodes of Breaking Bad. I've read most posts on this thread and would like your opinions on this series. I've only just started it and am up to season 2 episode 10. Now what I would like to know is, does this series lose its way , or get boring , as it goes on for 5 seasons, I'm really enjoying it at the moment, more than I thought I would, although I didn't know what to expect. Does it drag or does it stay as engrossing as it is at the current state ? Ta"

"cjp180 12:31 Mon Dec 4 I've only been able to find episode 1 of season 3 of Gomorrah with subtitles. Anyone else had any luck with this ? Watched Babylon Berlin over the weekend, crime series set during the Weimar Republic, in German with subs. Started out brilliantly I thought but lost it's way big time by about episode 5 or 6. Still, worth a look for me."

"could post this on the documentary thread but watched THE KEEPERS on netflix. a seven part series about the murder of a Nun who had worked in a Baltimore Catholic High School in the late 60s and may or may not have been about to expose a priest who worked at the same school who was abusing many of the young girl students. Its a very good series but leaves you angry at how the authorities covered up the crimes of these sick bastards, no doubt they still do and the murder case still remains unsolved"
