dm 4:47 Thu Dec 16 The kindest description I can think of is 'utterly unremarkable'. Bizarrely it is on Spotify if you do want to 'enjoy' any. I'd love to recommend some but I really can't.

"Lisa Dominique? I remember just about every other issue of Kerrang back in the mid 80s, had a photo of her with almost all of her kit off. See through tops etc. Never had a clue what her music sounded like though."

"yngwies Cat 1:28 Thu Dec 16 Ha ha! I'm quite proud of the fact that even when I was in my early teens and had very questionable taste, I still thought they were all terrible! Wendy O'Williams live supporting Motorhead was some kind of low point for me as well. Also, can I add Lisa Dominique to that list? Pretty girl but an appalling singer. Can't imagine why she had any sort of career? 🤔"

"azel senior 2:57 Wed Dec 15 Are Venom still going? Please tell me Chronos isn't still sporting his leather & studs garb in his 60s!! Not sure about Venom? Frankly I don't want to look them up just in case they are still going! That would be too depressing. Now that's another thing. Bands that 'dress up' when they start, who then look a wee bit silly when they still wear the same stuff 40 odd years later (who said Motley Crue?) As it turns out, Kiss's costumes were probably a good move when it comes to disguising the passage of time."

Hahaha.......you're losing me now. I can't listen to that without thinking of theme tunes and effects music ala Power Rangers and Transformers. Are Venom still going? Please tell me Chronos isn't still sporting his leather & studs garb in his 60s!!

"Bungo, Yep. I've seen some of the old boys turn out some superb performances, and have been delighted to see them one last time. But I've also seen those that should have turned it in at their peak. As much as I want to hear Angus Young and the AC/DC rhythm section (RIP Mal) tearing it up one last time, I fear that they are going to damage the legacy."

"azel senior 1:23 Wed Dec 15 Absolutely. I went to see Genesis recently, and while there is massively divided opinion out there on whether PC is up to it, I did realise that I don't think I have EVER seen anyone as frail as him onstage in ANY kind of professional performance before, including some quite elderly actors. Still, knowing when to hang it up must be very difficult when you still feel that you're able to do it."
