Leroy Stick with Gen V. It gets a lot better when work out what’s going on. Yeah Night Manager was excellent . Will be tough to beat that cast they had.

Been watching Gen V an offshoot of The Boys set a little time in the future. It’s pretty good. Sad about Chance Perdomo the British - American actor who died only aged 27 in motorcycle accident this year.

"Finished Presumed Innocent, yea it's good for sure, but not out the park good that will be remembered by many once finished, and what Alfs said, a daft ending."

"Those About to Die. After watching the first ep, I'm very underwhelmed. I'm a great fan of Hopkins but he phones in his performance. Emmerich, the director, relies far too much on CGI, where time on character development would have been millions cheaper and far more effective. Not a patch on Gladiator, or Rome."

"I see Snide is leaking through his/her vagina again to ruin a thread. As I said get some help. Back on topic two episodes in this excellent series"": Those About To Die A great Rome romp a mix of Gladiator and Ben Hur. Anthony Hopkins as Caesar and Roland Emmerich as director and 140m budget. How can it go wrong?"

Jaan Kenbrovin 2:38 Thu Jul 25 Shame the denouement in the original was a lovely little twist!

You've basically said the same things a few times when Slow Horses is mentioned.....so who is the bore? I think it's the one living in a Tenko hut......

"Christ, bore off fella, I'm basically saying that the third season went a bit downhill, and it did. Now off you go and have the last word as usual."

I don't think Slow Horses is there to be sensible and factual tbh.......so the odd farfetched storyline will be in the mix I guess.....I mean does MI5 actually have a shabby shit hole building where all their fuck ups work? Just go with the flow of it and hope the characters remain entertaining.

"Really liked Slow Horses too, but for me it all got rather silly and far fetched in the third series when MI5 were sent into that building to try to murder the dogs."

Yeah same here Swiss. I downloaded 3 or 4 episodes for a flight to Tenerife. I’ve ended up doing all three seasons sitting up late at night once the Mrs and son have gone to sleep.

Don Ravioli Slow Horses is probably the best series I have seen in years.

"I've started on Presumed Innocent as I do like a whodunnit, yes it is good but hardly anything groundbreaking that we haven't seen before."

"Really enjoyed the first 7 eps of Presumed Innocent but the denouement seems to be plucked from nowhere. A great crime thriller should allow someone in the house to exclaim 'I told you so', not all going 'ehh?'"

"No Duke. They shit all over the book and the film, and gave it a shit twist. Presumably for a second season."

Swiss. 5:12 Thu Jul 18 Is it the same ending as the film? Greta Scachi in the film over a desk if I remember rightly!
