Another way of deleting cache and deleting the packages is via the wookie option... tools - all options on there... then I normally the do the old route of Apps-Kodi-Delete Cache.... been doing this daily for over a year now and been a breeze

"mallard - are you running Openelec just off an SD card - if so you are much better installing it on a USB stick. Same with any Raspberry Pi system, you install just the system boot files on the SD card and everything else on a USB stick. Accessing the USB stick is much quicker than an SD card - makes everything run much faster and typically don't have to keep clearing cache and stuff."

"Raymond Reddington 12:34 Fri Mar 18 Cheers, Ray. I'm always wiping the cache, it's been recommended on here several times for different issues. UK Turks was the same, I reset the kodi app and it worked so I'm going to try putting Phoenix on again and a re set if it hangs on me."

The only add on's your need for football on Kodi are: * Operation Robocop which is bloody amazing and near full HD quality - They now have BT Sports channels included separately and the streaming quality and consistency is actually better than if I log into the BT website and stream that way. The other back up option I have is GemTV which has nearly every sports channel in the world included and not far off on quality to Robocop. All the Sky Sports Channels come through in fantastic quality.
