"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"to be fair to him, it's these nfl debate shows that are putting it out there. he hasnt refused anything yet, so I hope he proves them wrong and transforms a bad team"

"What's he expecting, the Patriots to come in for him as brady will be gone soon? A quality QB can help elevate a team, so I dont know why you wouldn't want to go in to a shit team and help turn them around and show that you're the bollocks, like Jackson and Mahomes have done, though obviously their teams weren't as shit as the Bengals. Niners have shown that it only takes a couple of years to turn it around and if AJ Green is back next season, he makes a massive difference."

yes mate. he's my favourite ever QB but I still think it shouldn't be allowed. I think the younger manning also did it

"Mike, Elway turned down the Colts didn't he? If he was forced to go there, he was going to go for baseball instead"

"""Huve positive is the chiefs are one of the teams I wouldn't mind losing too. I mean tyrek hill and kelce are a couple of the biggest cunts in the NFL, but hard not to like mahomes and andy reid."" Exactly this. Obviously I want to see the 49ers win again, but I won't be too distraught if it ends up with Reid's team winning a Super Bowl which he richly deserves."

"Didnt throw as Shanahan is a damn fine tactical coach and he knew the packers were shit against the run. Done on a number on the last 2 teams by sticking to a game plan. You'll rarely see a more comfortable couple of wins in the play offs, as we're a good team with a good coach. Should be a cracker as the chiefs are full of weapons, but they wont have come up against a physical defence like this yet this season. Huve positive is the chiefs are one of the teams I wouldn't mind losing too. I mean tyrek hill and kelce are a couple of the biggest cunts in the NFL, but hard not to like mahomes and andy reid."

"Mikey P 3:44 Mon Jan 20 The frightening thing is that they do have a good passing game too; they just didn't need it. Jimmy Garropolo's stats this are pretty good this season when he has been required to throw. Tevin Coleman, Mostert and Breida are a pretty handy set of running backs."

Well done to the Niners. The lack of a decent passing game is a worry though.

"It'll be interesting to see if the Chiefs defence can hold the 49ers run attack. Throughout this season that's where the Chiefs weakness is, IMO. They did very well against Derrick Henry last night, but the 49ers have enough options there to keep them thinking."

"I'd say the two best teams have made it to the Super Bowl this season. Doesn't always happen. But Chiefs/Niners both deserve to be there. Could be a good final, this. I've really enjoyed this season, for some reason. Even Adam Gase hasn't ruined that. Which is a surprise, because he generally ruins everything."

"Well I'm delighted. As I said earlier in the thread, my team are the 49ers, and my wife's whole family are mad Chiefs season ticket holders."

"Niners dominate again. I've been a Niner fan since ch 4 started showing it in the i0's as well. I remember the Redskins winning the superbowl who had a running back named Riggins who was a bad ass, but I liked Montana and Rice. Been a fan ever since. Went thru the ups and downs with Marriucci, the downs with Erickson, Chip Kelly. Tomsula and Singletary. Wasnt happy when they outed Harbaugh. We sure do have a team and coaching staff now though. Cant wait for superbowl, chiefs will be tough but we have the better run game and Defense. Should be a great game."

"Completely dropped their intensity thinking it was already job done. Amateurish and although the run has been working, does make it easy to stop us if we do finally refuse to throw the ball. No throw for 1 and a half quarters!!"

"196 yards and 4 TD's for raheem from only 19 runs!!! John Madden on the master system back in 1988 got me into the NFL properly. All picked a team blind and I thought I'd done well originally, but fuck me it's been fairly barren and atrocious since other than the Harbaugh years :o) This team has brilliant potential and Jerry rice looks like he could still play."
