"miike - Granted, he did play well in those games, but we also scored 3 goals in both games, so think that should be acknowledged too. It was also Moyes's call to make Areola numero uno this season."

"manuel, who do you think kept us in the brighton & chelsea games if it wasn't areola? I see the frog is flip flopping again and now questioning moyes, despite us being shit all season. He'll have his tongue up Moyes backside if we grind out a win on Sunday üòÇ"

"Pellegrni's second season we started well, everyone was saying how good we looked and how great Haller was. Truth was we beat some very poor teams and then fell away. I can see this season heading in the same direction if we get beat this weekend."

"Scott - Take your point, but last season I never thought for one minute we would go down and said so many times on here, I don't think we even slipped into the bottom 3 at any time? So I can see why Sullivan held his nerve, plus we were in Europe still which would have helped Moyes. If we really were genuinely threatened with relegation then I have no doubt Sullivan would pull the trigger, he wouldn't be left with any choice, he did with Bilic and the Chilean idiot. But as said, with the crap in the league this season, then yes it's very likely he will be here at least until the summer."

I refuse to believe people have watched many games of ours this season if they think we haven't been battered by the other teams in the vast of games so far this season.

"I'll back Moyes all the time his awful system works. It isn't working. The first defeat by Villa showed inadequate team selection, poor tactics, and poor game management. Last night I don't blame Moyes for trying to use our subs but hardly anyone gave it full effort and strolled around like we were winning. Even when Antonio, Paqueta and Bowen came on there was little improvement in effort and all looked poor. Only once Paqueta scored a beauty did the effort step up with only minutes to go. Moyes is back to making poor decisions and somehow manages to avoid inspiring the players. I'd like someone to check how often we let goals in just after a half-time team talk from Moyes because I'm sure it happens regularly. I'm afraid now that our good start has crumbled and Moyes won't be able to get the players to perform properly. It might just be a long, painfully slow season as Moyes won't be sacked"

"I think the main issue for me though, is similar to what has been said on this thread many times. When I look at that team, it's exciting how entertaining it COULD be. I imagine how entertaining it could be if we had a manager who spent a bit more time thinking about this could could do damage to other teams, rather than worrying about how we are going to cope with everyone else. There is a definite attitude from Moyes that differs from the majority of West Ham fans, probably football fans too, where he seems gives every other team allot more respect than his own."

"Really hope German Tim has someone lined up soon, don't think I can take a lot more of Moyes crap football, I'm getting zero enjoyment watching the way we play."

"Manuel, I would go as far as saying that even if we look like we 'might' be in trouble, that's not enough for DS. We definitely were in trouble for large parts of last season, from very early on too. So many games where we all thought that it must have been his last and yet the board had other ideas. Can't seem them being tougher on him this season unless we start plummeting down the table and find ourselves rock bottom."

"We all know he isn't being sacked anytime soon, that will only happen if we look like we 'might' be in trouble, and that is very unlikely this season. The only reasonable question on the table is will he get a new deal or go in the summer? My gut is he will go and all parties will move on, but a lot of water to go under the bridge before then."

"RM10 - I'm not as anti Moyes as some, even though I can't abide the cսnt most of the time, but put it this way I don't think we're 9th in the league because of 'miracles' from the keeper."

"TWO whole games! You mean the Brighton we beat 3-0? He may not be the person to take us to the next level but his contract expires in the summer and we'll know how the season has gone. But we are not at the stage where there's any point in sacking him - there's far more risk involved in changing things now. We're relatively comfortable, have performed well in general and have a chance to bounce back this weekend. Need to want went ham to win rather than many who seem to want us to lose so they can be proven right about Moyes."

"""we've had one game this season where we have seriously underperformed"" we've just had two in five days, we also would have been battered by brighton/chelsea if areola doesn't perform miracles. the only hysterics are coming from you pro moyes imbeciles"

"We need to stop the hysterics we've had one game this season where we have seriously underperformed and a number in which we[ve been pretty good. If it continues then sack him, but the meltdown after one bad performance is ridiculous."

"What candidates are there available to replace him and do a better job? I can't think of one manager we could attract who could be a sure bet of improving us. So we are stuck with the dour, negative JOCKOSAURUS cսnt until at least the end of this season as he knows how to do just enough to not relegate us. If we are in the bottom three at Christmas though, the board must fire him for gross ineptitude."

How many teams in the Premier League hoof it long straight after kick off? There can't be many. We do it pretty much every time we kick off.

"RM10 - Yeah it could be that bit it really isn't. It's frustration of finally as a Club investing in quality players only to watch them be drilled into a latter day Stoke City, and not even properly... We play the worst football in the league ffs, every team we play passes the football better... We're so much less than the sun of our parts and we're fucked off with it. If you think that's us being happy.."
