As for the British citizen argument that’s easily solved.
Reform the immigration law so that when someone is granted asylum and given citizenship it comes with 10 year condition list, learn the language, work and pay taxes and do not commit any crime. I like Trumps stance if someone commits a crime deport the criminal and all their immediate family members that came with them too.
After 10 years the condition is removed and then they get tried as a Citizen like everyone else.

migrants coming to the uk on a working visa have to pay tax and pay for access to the health services. For citizenship there’s a test which is in English.
