"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"Crystal, isn't Hermit Road WHU Eagles? Also, El Scorchio may be persuaded to join - he played in many previous iterations. Thanks for doing it again!"

"Teams still waiting for confirmation are Coleraine broncos WHUeagles Red and gold brigade Deportivo hammers If im going to expand it to 14 teams then we also have 1 more open slot for someone to join, if we cant get a new person to join it will be the last person out of the above teams to confirm that will unfortunately have to be removed from the league. Usually set the draft for after the last preseason game but with there now being no preseason i'll have a look when the league is supposed to start and probably do it the Sunday before, leave it as late as possible in case of injuries or any weird variations due to covid."

"Many Jets fans, like me, think Seattle got a steal - even with giving up two firsts, a third and fourth rounder (plus a player). Adams is excellent - a born leader and reads the game superbly. It is a huge deal that Seattle have given up, but he's the best (not the second best!) safety in the league. He's basically kept a poor Jets team together for two seasons. The only thing missing from Adams' game are interceptions, he's not a ball hawk. But he's the best tackler in the position, his coverage is top-class and he never takes a snap off. Hard-ass kid, as well, if a little mouthy (aren't they all these days?). The Jets don't exactly have a great track record when it comes to first round picks. Vernon Gholston and Kyle Brady, anyone?! Adams was one of our few top-class exceptions in recent years. So we'll probably waste the picks. Adams wanted a mega/deal, that's the only reason he left. Criticising the head coach (who is poor) and new GM was his easiest way out - so he did it. But it was all about $$$. It's a shame. We'll miss him a lot. He was also the team captain and a huge influence in the dressing room. Speaking of which, it's worrying what Adams said about Gase's approach to the dressing room. Can't help but feel Gregg Williams should be in charge."

"Jets are trading their star safety jamal adams to seattle for 2 firsts, a 3rd and a 4th, huge deal, probably the 2nd best safety in the league for me. Cant help but think him being very critical of the owner and team after the latest sexism/racism scandal with their owner forces the teams hands"

"Yeah i just renewed the league from last year so everyone who was in last year has been automatically added in, but i want to make sure people still want to do it and/or give new people the chance to join"

"yes, do your preferred order and if the player is there you'll get him. otherwise they'll give you the best ranked player left in the positions you need"

I am guessing I am in because I see the fixture list. Just a quick question about the draft. If I can't do it at the time does anyone know if the automatic draft picks off your pre-draft list?

"Only had 3 people confirm they want to remain in the league and 1 person asking to join, ive upped it to a 14 team league for now and expanded the playoffs. If people can please confirm they would like to remain or let me know they're not interested so i can remove them. Sooner rather than later if its not too much trouble as i'll need to start trying to plan when to do the draft."
