Daily Quiz anyone?
"If you are stuck at home and bored like me. How about exercising the old grey cells? I have for a number of years run quiz nights and couple of times a year. I was due to do one tomorrow which is now cancelled So I have a bank of questions sitting in my computer's hard drive. They are quite eclectic in their nature. I am thinking I could put up a set of questions for which you write down your answers. After 30mins or so I will put up the answers. DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS. before I post the right answers. You mark your own answers and post your score. I will then record the scores and at the end of the ""lockdown"" we will see who is WHO's brainbox supreme. Obiviously no looking up the answers (you only cheat yourselves) Word of warning these won't be easy questions as they have been devised for teams of six. Forming teams on here might be too problematic. So I'll try to pick out the easier questions. Any interest?"

3 yesterday 6 today. Obviously better at asking questions than answering them ?üôÑ Which arguably is what good parents teach. When kids come home from school better to ask them not what did you learn today but rather what questions did you ask today.

"Harsh, the courts have ruled that the US government should pay for taking their lands, as of now there's $1.2 billion dollars in an interest bearing account but the Lakota have refused taking it Now that's principled"

"zico To be honest, I'm clinging on to some of my boyhood dreams of what america was and dread to visit and see its nothing like it. If you haven't seen Badlands with Sissy Spacek and Martin Sheen, I recommend it. I remember my sister sending me pictures of the black hills when she stayed there for a few days and was struck by the scale and drama of them."

"6... Good quiz that Rio. Do I get a cheeky bonus for ""Dr David Bruce Banner""? Mad Dog is indeed right, although his middle name is Bruce in the TV series on his gravestone! Went for Talahassee as well, only knew Bedloe's Island because I did a similar question, guessed Route 66 and knew Alaska was furthest north but hadn't the foggiest on it's capital. Most frustratingly I could see Cary Grant hanging on to the face of Mount Rushmore but couldn't remember where it was!!"

"As an aside the level of questions seems to get about right There seems to be a real mix of scores. If I do well, some others don't (yesterday) and last week there were some that I thought who on earth would know that, and others were getting 8 or 9. Keep up good work"
